Great Lakes Chinese Restaurant

We love to order ahead and takeout for a Home meal. Never had bad food or service here. Recommended.

Very lack luster selection of food this time, hope you can fill up on noodles and buttered shrimp... My brother and his wife said it's usually a great experience though, my only redeeming quality for this is the hostess was smashable. I'll try again someday.

Now, I want to let you know that I do not like fried rice at all. I've never had good fried rice from any Chinese restaurant -- that is, until I came here. Their fried rice is incredible. There really isn't anything like it. It's so good, in fact, that I usually get it when I come here. Although this is very unlike me, I can't help but do it because it's simply that good. While their other dishes are great, I must comment that their fried rice dishes are wonderful. This alone is a testament to the quality of their food. I'd highly recommend this place for Chinese food. I've never dined in, but I imagine their food is even better when it isn't take-out!

I keep forgetting this place is here, the people are really nice the food is good, in a rush they have a hard time keeping the bins full. I wish the ice cream had a little bit more sanitary arrangement, not where like people's hair and other things can fall into it.

They have smaller choices but it's very fresh and hot food. The staff is very nice and helpful. This is one of the better places to eat at.
