GHS has helped our 2yo daughter in numerous ways, and we are so grateful to the caring staff. In the last year her transformation has been amazing. From beginning as a ‘delayed‘ speaker, she now chats nonstop, sings all day, has confidence in herself, constantly counts, always recites the alphabet, and shows great emotional and bilingual intelligence. Additionally, the warmth and security GHS has brought to us as parents will always be remembered. If we ever return to Houston, this school will be our first call. Thank you Harold, Ms. Martha, Miss Sofia, and the whole GHS family. You will be missed.
Thank you for all you did for my little boy while he was at your school! He loved Alma and Mercedes. He was all smiles at pickup and adapted quicker than I thought thanks to your care and professionalism. :
School management canceled my son's class with one day notice citing "staffing issues." No explanation was ever given. Upon receipt of this information I terminated my other son's enrollment. The next day April 29, 2022 I received a notice that the school would be closing. I found that we could not trust information provided by school management to be provided in a timely fashion or truthful. Both kids loved every teacher they had there.
I cannot say enough good things about the owners and the staff at Greater Heights School. For me the number 1 thing in a daycare is whether my boys feel safe and loved - and they do 110% with GHS. Even when they are grumpy or getting over being sick and normally just want 'Mommy', they will basically jump out of my arms into one of at minimum 7 people's open arms. We attended a prior daycare, which I loved, but it was not the same. My 2nd priority for my kids is for them to learn and grow in a way that leaves them confident. They have both done this at GHS in large part because they feel safe and loved. The teachers are happy to be there and enjoy interacting with the kiddos. The curriculum for the toddlers is great! And I'm thrilled they are learning in both English and Spanish. GHS is a small school, the owners and teachers know all the kids / parents. It isn't always perfect in things, but the owners are very happy for feedback and work tirelessly to remedy anything that they can. I highly recommend touring and when you do, look at the kids faces. That should tell you all you need to know. :
