Looked this place up on Google maps. Saw they were close to my house. Booked a massage on their website for same day 30 min massage. Get here this evening and the building has a for lease sign on it. No answer when dialing the phone number listed. So basically THIS BUSINESS DOESN'T EXIST
Yesterday I enjoyed a fabulous 90-minute combo massage with Grace... It was fantastic! My husband was also very happy with his massage therapist Mae. At $90 plus a $20 tip the price was very fair for a 90-minute massage. A few things to note: 1. Much of the staff have limited English. Grace had me talk into her phone to translate what I wanted and needed from my massage headache recovery. 2. The facilities are very basic -- This is not a posh or cushy salon 3. The style of the massage is very intense... fast moving and often deep. I loved it and felt thoroughly transformed but this may be too much if you are not experienced and comfortable with deep tissue. If you have concerns make your desires clear upfront with a translating tool. 4. They use a lot of oil during the massage but then use a hot towel to remove the oil from your body. Go with an open mind and enjoy!
I’ve been coming here with my boyfriend for awhile and we always come to get a couples massage. We have always liked the place and had no complaints. Today when we went, we got a 90 min massage $200 for 2 people and after I paid, she looked and asked why I didn’t tip a lot and that I needed to tip more for a 90 min massage. There was no disclaimer or sign stating that I needed to tip a certain amount if was getting a 90 min. I was shocked because I’ve never been forced to tip more before. But I felt awkward and uncomfortable because there were other customers watching, so she rang up another transaction for me to tip more and I left. It was definitely the most uncomfortable and unprofessional thing to do. I will absolutely not be coming back.
Not the relaxing spa experience but the quality of the deep tissue is unmatched if you like it hard. I feel great for weeks after a massage here. If you’re one to communicate a lot with your therapist, it might not be the place for you because some don’t speak much English. I love it and I’m a repeat client.
Really depends who you get. I’ve had good experiences in the past here. Went in recently and was quite disappointed. Didn’t touch chest, lower back, glutes, hamstrings, or quads.Briefly worked on arms. Spent extensive time on calves and feet but it was more like marinating my skin with oil. Very light pressure even after asking for more. Upper back was good. Pricing on the website doesn’t match what’s posted at the front desk.
Okay this was hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. In my life. Wonderful Hannah did the best most incredible job and I feel so good. Not once did it feel like too much or too little pressure which is rare. I’ve been to tons of places in both Portland and LA, having plenty of great massages, but I’m sticking to this place for good as my massage was above and beyond. I’ve never been blown away enough to write a review until now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I came in out of the blue and had a great massage. I was taken to one of the first rooms and they had a warmer on for the chilly day. I disrobed and got into the table. The massage was hard where it needed to be and soft in certain areas too. My favorite part was how deep she got into my back muscle because it's been aching for weeks. I know she got out a lot of those pesky knots. Overall I was completely happy with the service. Especially with a 10% off price. Strange I didn't get the frequent card that other reviews mention. This place is so close to my house I just couldn't pass it up.
I booked a 60 min with a 30 minute cupping and guasha add on that was supposed to be $90 total according to their booking software. I got there and was informed they do not do guasha and that if I purchased a 90 minutes I would get cupping for free. The 90 minute is $140. I paid $50 more than I expected and got less. I'm confused how the 90 minute massage is double the price of an hour. The massage was ok, 90% of the time was spent on my back, and a lot of it was rubbing the skin rather than deep tissue. They also use very strong smelling detergent which I found to be headache inducing.
My husband and I got a massage together and it was wonderful. Very relaxing, they know exactly what to do. Highly recommended. We called and got in the same day. We paid $120.00 plus a $40.00 tip for two, 60 minute massages.
