Oh man, did I enjoy myself at Green Acres Market! I'm not from Kansas City, so it's difficult sometimes to find exactly what I want. This store carries everything you'd want or need as a die hard vegan, or someone just dabbling in healthier eating. From fresh beautiful fruits and veggies to every vitamin, herb, tea, healthy shampoos and skincare options...the list goes on. They stock several different brands, so you have options. They also have ready made snacks and meals, which are delicious. Employees were helpful, without being overbearing.
It’s a good little grocery store with very kind employees. I really like their counter with delicious salads too. However, I’ve been bitten a few times by going and them not having and ingredient I’m looking for. Also beware that their hours are a little more limited than other grocery stores.
This is an amazing grocery. Natural. Many organic items you can’t find some places ... you can find here. They also have a nice selection of unique ready to eat items. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
Best health food market in the city. They stock Ceylon cinnamon which is nearly impossible to find in Kansas City, Missouri.
Surprisingly Great prices. Most quality health food stores are more expensive. We'll be back.
They have great vegan options and I loved all the verities. If you are not white definitely don’t go because u will be watched the entire time by staff . Not friendly staff . Even though they have great variety , I won’t be going back.
I bought 2 options for dairy free cream cheese to test. A couple days later, I got them out to make oreo balls. One of the packages was expired which I didn't catch when I bought it. When I opened it, it had been opened, used and was moldy. They should have better inventory control so they don't have expired product on the shelf. Also, the fact that it had been opened and used? Just gross!!
Great produce, awesome salad bar, incredible homemade soups, and a great varity of healthy grocery items! The service is very friendly and helpful. Great place to grab lunch or supper!
Normally, I love Green Acres. But we ordered out Thanksgiving sides from there this 2021 year and it tasted like a container of black pepper was put in the stuffing and mashed potatoes-Yuck! The cranberry relish was good , pumpkin pie, and green beans were good. Please let people salt and pepper their own food next year a friendly request-maybe you didn’t realize it was so peppery?. . I normally love your products.
I will return, and change my review accordingly. Returned Friday May 17th at 3:00 p.m. and was helped by a young dark haired girl who was very very helpful, store looked amazing so I have changed my review to 5 stars, and will definitely be back, thank you!
