Greenacres Market
"Where there used to be one, now there are seven. GreenAcres Market, a Midwestern chain of health food stores started by Barb Hoffmann and her family in 1994, got its start in Wichita, Kansas’ largest city and has spread through the years to Missouri and Oklahoma. It’s not stopped growing yet!The flagship store located in the Bradley Fair shopping center features an all-organic and local-produce salad bar, made-from-scratch hot case and deli menu, gluten-free, vegan and RAW dessert case, smoothie bar and more. Test marketing on customers has brought some winners to the daily menu including regular and gluten-free potpies, crunchy kale salad, cold berry soup and raw chocolate peanut butter cheesecake."

Start your day right with a healthy green drink! I asked to have pineapple juice added to mine! We hope our reviews give you an idea of what it is like to live, work, and play in Wichita Kansas!
Love this place! Gluten free bakery! Local products everywhere!
I came in for some gifts & gluten-free from the bakery around 4:50pm. The person packing up the salad bar older dark haired lady with a bad attitude saw me & hurried back behind the counter & disappeared but I could hear her banging pots & pans. Thought since she saw me, she would come back to help as the store is clearly OPEN UNTIL 7PM. She ignored me. I went over to make-up & the nice lady over there told me to ring the bell. & she stayed & waited to see if the bad attitude lady would come up. At this point we both can see her & she REFUSES to help me. Just shaking her head & continues to wash a pot. The nice lady says she closes at 5... I'm HERE before. I'm a paying customer here during business hours! Being refused service. I put down my other purchase & left. ***This is the 2nd time I've been refused service.*** I WON'T BE BACK. I'LL GO TO OTHER GLUTEN-FREE BAKERIES WHO ARE READY & WILLING TO HELP. Embarassed for your store! I have 29 years customer service experience. This was disgusting! She should find a job where she doesn't have to deal with the public.
Absolutely disgusted with their Thanksgiving turkey. A few years ago we ordered one & it was sliced beautifully, divided by meat type, and gravy was separated into another container. This year the meat was not sliced & looked like they just pulled the turkey apart & threw it in a pan. Bones were still in most of the pieces & when we asked about the gravy, we were told “Well it’s just the stuff in the bottom.” They charged a ridiculous amount for what looks like they just smashed a turkey carcass into a tray. I would have given it no stars if it were an option. Not at all what was described/advertised. Will never buy from here again.
Bought a smoothie that contained coconut water. Unsupervised new person had no clue what was going on and clearly was never given instructions. Needless to say, she put approximately 4 TBS of MCT coconut oil in my drink when she thought it was coconut water. Long story short, too much oil can make you very sick. Will not return
This is a great place it's a great experience..prices are too high compared to natural grocers and online purchasing they're going to have to get more aggressive with their pricing for example. My probiotics at this store are $55.. right down the street at natural grocers I can get them for 35.. another example there vegan one is $65 a tub for the small one..I can buy it online for $70 for the extra large tub that has twice as much in it..I'm just trying to help Green acres with some constructive criticismI do like Green acres and the way they run their business they're just going to have to get with it on the pricing..
I can't ever think of this place without singing the song... lol... all jokes aside if I could give them 10 stars I would. The prices are better than their competitors. The service is outstanding. If I can't find something a person has never been to hard to find to ask. The people that work here are ALWAYS friendly, outgoing, and eager to help. They have a wide variety of gluten free selections. Their gluten free chicken pot pies are nothing I can buy anywhere else. The fresh foods they have available are always clearly marked with the ingredients. The reward card adds up quickly. Healthy Fast Friendly Convenient Reasonably priced what more can you need
First time at this location and the staff was welcoming and genuinely enjoyed their jobs! We purchased the gluten free potpie! So excited to have so many ready to eat options; especially chicken potpie!
There's a lot of stuff here.organic food organic fruit ,fresh salads there's hot meal to go prepare just the way you want them.About every vitamin you can name organic meat there sales price are better than most places expecially the vitamins they always have something going on.Every month they've got health classes, sometimes they teach you how to cook healthy.the staff at all the Green Acres Stores are pretty knowledgeable about everything. Always willing to help with anything.
Wide variety of gluten-free options! Many kid-friendly items, too! The deli is great, I hope they consider bringing the gluten-free bierocks back!
