Our family has trained 18 dogs with Allie at Greenbelt Dog Training in the past 17 years and we highly recommend his method of training. He has a true understanding of dogs, their behavior and how train owners to be their dogs best teacher.

Pros: Allie knows dogs and he can teach you to train your dog. I took his basic obedience class (couldn't finish due to medical reasons) and he absolutely has a gift! For the price he's asking, you cannot do better!! Cons: You need a little patience :-) Allie does like to hear himself talk, especially in the beginning, but if you get past that you'll learn a lot and end up with a well-trained dog. Allot more time in your schedule for the lessons, especially for the first couple. And be sure to ask him very specifically what the homework is at the end of each class...he's often vague and you'll show up next week having worked on something else.

I brought my sheltie to Allie Lee for beginning dog obedience class. Allie is a very competent dog trainer, who has earned many high level AKC obedience titles with his own dogs. He was always just a phone call away when I needed a training question answered. He teaches using positive reinforcement using your voice and touching which is something that I absolutely LOVED. I know my dog will respond regardless if I have treats in my pocket or not! With Allie's help my dog earned his Canine Good Citizen and AKC Rally Novice titles as well as Therapy Dog International Certification. Many of his clients have gone on to excel in AKC obedience, canine freestyle, agility, flyball and so much more. He is also active in the community with his therapy dog group. I could not recommend this trainer more. He is hands down the best I have ever worked with whether you are looking for basic obedience training for your house pet or you are looking to lay that solid foundation for your future competitive obedience dog.
