Awesome professional trainers. The daycare is great. They treat every dog like their own. Each dog is assessed and given the space, grouping and time to thrive. They take on any challenge and teach the owners what helps. They offer classes and continuing education. My two dogs love spending time. I say the names Alma and Savannah and I better be putting them in the car.

I am so happy we found Pet-U-Cation! We adopted our dog, Sarah, about 5 months ago. Shortly after we adopted her, she had an incident with another dog, which was very upsetting at the time, but ended up being a blessing in disguise because the other owner suggested we take her to Pet-U-Cation. Alma, Savannah, Evan, and Sarah are all super knowledgable, skilled dog trainers. They know what they're doing!!! We bring Sarah to daycare at least once a week, and have seen huge improvements in her! I always wanted to take her to daycare, but was worried because she gets overwhelmed/overly excited when there's a lot going on, and I know many doggie daycares just let the dogs run wild. I didn't think she'd do well in that type of setting, but I still wanted her to interact and socialize with other dogs. I love PuC's daycare because it is run by experienced dog trainers that I trust. Sarah gets to go have fun while she's learning, too! She loves going to daycare, and she loves the ladies at PuC. She's always so excited when we get there. I also love that Savannah posts videos of the dogs on Instagram, so I can see what Sarah is doing at daycare. We also are currently enrolled in PuC's training class -- Advocacy Through Training. We've only been to 4 classes so far (3 with our dog) and we have already seen improvements. Alma is so educated on dogs and dog behavior. I feel like the things we have learned have all been little things that you would never think to do, but have made a world of difference! Alma has taught us how dogs think and how they learn. We have become more confident dog owners, and our dog is happier, more confident, engaged, and trusts us more. In one day we had our dog walking next to us. I had watched SO MANY YouTube videos about how to get your dog to walk next to you and nothing ever really worked... until we did what Alma taught us to do! I used to hate walking Sarah because she pulled, but now I love it! We get so many compliments walking down the street about how well behaved our dog is. I would 100000000% recommend taking your dog to PuC, whether it's for the training, daycare, or the many other classes they offer. Their classes are affordable, and SOOOOO worth it. I cannot thank Alma, Savannah, Evan, and Sarah enough for everything they have done for us. PuC ROCKS! :)

We evaluated other dog training services in the area but we ultimately chose Pet-U-Cation. We selected the Advocacy Through Training (ATT) class because our dog was not well-behaved on his leash. He would become excited and pull persistently making walks frustrating for all. Prior to attending the class, we tried different leashes and harnesses but none yielded the result we desired. In addition to loose-leash walking, we also wanted to work on him greeting new people calmy, which has been a struggle for our pup. Prior to the class, we had a phone consultation with the main instructor, Alma. It was immediately evident that she had done her homework and read our application/profile to fully understand our needs, whose diligence translated to the rest of her staff. This customized approach was so appreciated; none of the other training services we evaluated took this level of care. As we attended ATT, we quickly learned that the class was just as beneficial for us as it was for our dog. As an owner, we needed to thoughtfully manage interactions and engage our dog’s “thinking brain,” allowing him the opportunity for success. We were taught how to identify and interpret our dog’s body language. We learned proper loose-leash walking techniques and how to correct our companion effectively. Additionally, we were provided with multiple techniques to help calm and focus our dog. All of these combined skills allow us to position our K-9 for successful, positive interactions. Our dog was exceptionally receptive to the techniques used and he learned, very quickly, how to comply with our directions. Thanks to what we learned, we are now able to have relaxing, low-stress walks with our pup; a direct result of the Pet-U-Cation training. Our family would recommend this class to anyone that wants to better understand, respond to, and interact with their K-9 companion. -Kenny, Tim, & Gable
