Greenhouse Effect

The owner is a monster. I had a day off to spend finishing my book and drink coffee. I had bought a latte, a coffee with two refills, and a crepe. I had been there for about 3 hours when my friends had stopped in to join me and order lattes as well when the owner came up to me and said I could not spend any more time there (when it was a dead slow day with no other customers in the shop.) and I told her how it made no sense since I have continued to pay for items, and no one was in the shop to take away their time- and she still proceeded to kick myself, my two friends and their daughter out. I was so upset I was shaking. It was so rude. If we were being loud or disrespectful I could understand, though it was not the case and I feel so disappointed my once Favorite coffee shop is now such a foul place to visit. Never again will I go back.

I absolutely love the atmosphere here. Its a good place to chat, eat, drink coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and/or study. The crepes are great. I love the hot chocolate. I feel like some of the other drinks could use improvement, but that won't keep me from returning. I highly recommend this place! Especially on Sunday nights for their open Mic night.

Greenhouse Creperie and coffee is one of my favorite places to visit in Salt Lake City! I like to support local and I happen to know the family that owns this special place, I know they put a lot of hard work and love into it and you can feel that when you visit. I also love love love the gluten-free batter that they have for their crepes, they've got that down. Great people great atmosphere and they support local artists. Well done, can't wait to visit again! Also the fact that they support musicians and art is very impressive, and the coffee, I have enjoyed every different style of coffee at this location! PS my favorite crepe is the Thai chicken so yummy :-)

Been stopping by here for years. Always love the environment and coffee is good. I love their outside seating! Parking is a little harsh in the back and there's usually only 2 people working so it takes a while to get any coffee, reason for the 4 star.

Used to love this place because of the friendly staff and peaceful patio. Went there today to get some work done, after today's experience I may not return. A man maintaining the patio turned on some water where I was sitting and sprayed me and my laptop with water - no apology and didn't ask me to move/watch out. A few minutes later he turned the sprinklers on me and my husband covering both of us, our laptops, and bags in water. He made eye contact with us as we hurried to collect our things and move to a different area.. again no apology, instead just a gruff stare. So rude, can't believe people treat their customers like this. A real bummer to cross this place off my list - been coming here & recommending for a decade.
