Josh and his crew did an amazing job at our house. If you're looking for yard work, planting, or landscaping GreenOp will do an amazing job. When we moved into our new home in Dorchester, the front yard was a blank slate, and our backyard had a Japanese garden theme going on. Nine months later, our back yard was completely overgrown and our front yard was still plain. Neither my wife or I have green thumbs so we were in trouble. Josh came over to our place, listened to our concerns, thoughts, needs and figured out plantings for around our home. He had a vision for our front yard--planting bushes, flowers, a rhododendron and more--he knew how to turn the side yard into a great perennial garden, and he worked with us on getting our backyard back into shape. We wanted to plan a tree in the front yard and he suggested a dogwood, which will grow to just the right size. Initially, we had considered finding a landscape architect, but after talking to Josh, we realized we didn't need one. It was their busiest time of the year, but Josh and his crew were able to get started within a month of our first meeting. They did an amazing job weeding and extracting our dying plants and bushes. They took great care of our property. They even worked through multiple 90 degree days. Josh gave us clear instructions about how to water and care for all the new plants, how to recognize signs of trouble, and even helped us with watering when we were out of town for a couple of days. Our house and yard look great. I'm beyond pleased with Josh and his crew. As the plants keep growing and maturing, they just keep getting better. I smile every time I come home and see our awesome yard.

Josh and his team have been great. Josh helped us design and plant a number of shrubs and trees. He listened to what we wanted but also made suggestions we wouldn’t have considered, and it came out great. His team also helped with a separate fall cleanup of our large yard. They arrived early and did a great job. We are very happy with GreenOps and plan on continuing to work with them.

The GreenOp has done a terrific job from the very beginning. Josh was very patient and responsive to our questions while we were deciding to hire them for landscape maintenance of our Condo Association property. They completed a large cleanup job and everything looked great. Their weekly "mow and blow" visits have also been great as they show great attention to detail. They pick up the grass and blow down the entire driveway, parking lot and walkways for a crisp and clean look. Everyone in our 8 unit townhouse condo association has been thrilled with their work. They also alert you the day before they visit in the case that cars may need to be moved. Overall we have been very happy as they have a very reasonable price as well as exceptional service.

It has been a pleasure for our condo association to work with GreenOp. We appreciate that Josh listened to our needs to provide a custom response rather than giving a generic recommendation. Our yard has become the talk of the neighborhood with compliments still coming in over a month later! The entire crew carries themselves with professionalism and leaves everything better than it was upon arrival. Working with GreenOp is easy and we look forward to finding additional opportunities to work together.

We used Green Op for several years, as the company has grown and expanded. Josh has been generous, accommodating, and communicative. They did our regular lawn and garden maintenance, plus spring and fall startup/cleanup. The mowing and cleanup were great for a long time. GreenOp always adjusted their services to the specific needs of our gardens each season. I value the personal relationship we have with Josh, and I like supporting a young person's local business. However, as GreenOp has grown, the crews who came to us changed. The workers did not seem to think about what they were doing, and had no actual plant knowledge. Without supervision, the work suffered. Leaves and grass got blown into our pond. Perennials were pulled up because someone thought they were weeds and didn't check. Some tasks on the spring or fall list we're not done or done wrong. This past spring, the cleanup was only partially done, and, inexplicably, several shrubs were hard pruned, ruining the shape and cutting off this year's blooms. At that point, I reluctantly discontinued our relationship with GreenOp. I recognize that Josh needs to make his company profitable, and he also wanted to try to keep me as a customer. Unfortunately, our needs no longer fit GreenOp's business model. I appreciate Josh's efforts and wish them well as the company matures.

GreenOp is always there for our condo association. Landscaping in the summer and critical snow removal and plowing in the winter. They always do a great job and are a pleasure to work with.

Our experience with GreenOp Landscaping began just last year. Our property consists of seven condominium units, an open grassy area, driveway and front lawns. We needed an initial cleanup of overgrowth, etc. along with regular pruning, mowing and blowing. GreenOp has done a remarkable job sprucing up our landscape, even adding flowers. The crew is courteous, dependable and very professional. Would highly recommend GreenOp to anyone seeking outstanding landscaping service.

We have been using GreenOp for about 5 years now and have been extremely pleased with the service. Our yard has never looked better under Josh and his team's care, and they are consistent and prompt with showing up when promised and are trustworthy. Josh and his crew at GreenOps are hardworking and trustworthy. We have a rambling, hilly & rocky property in Savin Hill that has its problems and they have risen to the challenge! As I am not as nimble as I once was, it's a pleasure to have GreenOps come and weed, mulch and prune as needed each season. I also have some strong opinions about what plants I want to salvage and Josh is very good at listening and accommodating to the client's needs. GreenOps has helped us with our landscaping needs for 3 years now.
