"Brooklyn City Furniture" is the answer given when asked where I bought my beautiful dining room set, sideboard, sleeper sofa, dresser, rug, chair, etc. etc. When friends come over to our place, the first thing they say is that they love the sleek, modern designs. I'm not an interior designer at all.. This wouldn't be possible without Agnes's help. She listened carefully and made suggestions based on the criteria I had in mind. She was collaborative, informative and super flexible with my indecisiveness. John was patient, engaging and welcoming. I am so glad I found them. We live in the neighborhood and they went above and beyond to accommodate our crazy schedules and turn around times.
Brooklyn City Furniture were so helpful in helping me find a sofa for my walk up apartment with tight space requirements. After the first sofa I wanted wouldn't fit they helped me find a different sofa that would. I love the quality and style of my new sofa and all of the staff went above and beyond to meet my needs. I would recommend Brooklyn City Furniture if you are looking for high quality modern furniture for your space.
Thank you Agnes and team for a delightful experience. Having just landed in NY and needing a sofa asap, they were super diligent in helping us select the perfect sofa and it was at our apartment within 48 hours! Delivery was not only prompt but very professional!
Extremely happy with my purchases and love the store and staff. I initially came just to browse but ended up loving the Eilersen sectional they had on display. After moving into my new place in NJ, I came back as soon as possible to make the purchase, as well as add on a Gus Modern dining table that I had actually seen in another store but decided to get from Brooklyn City Furniture after seeing that they had it on their website as well. The delivery was timely and everything was assembled with care. I'm sorry for all the stairs!! Much thanks to Agnes and John!
The staff at Brooklyn City Furniture were wonderful. They listened to everything I was thinking about regarding a couch, showed and talked me through a lot of options, and weren't push about anything! They also delivered to my 3rd story walk up, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Bought living room rug recently from Brooklyn City Furniture. 5-star experience from start to finish! Agnes a dream! So accommodating. She permitted us to take home her only sample of pattern we liked so that we could tell if colors looked good in our living room. An immediate Yes! Took 2 weeks for rug to come in. They delivered it to our lobby and picked up sample, all without charge. And we love the rug!! Highly recommend this store!! Both Agnes and her partner are incredible! They truly want to give customers the best service ever.
Love this place. After coming in to browse the shop, John helped us find the perfect couch for our room and arranged a seamless delivery and assembly within our apartment for us all within a day of placing our order. John was so patient and answered all of my questions about the Gus modern couches. When it came time to order he helped me with measurements and suggesting pieces that would fit my space. The Gus modern couch is so comfortable and the pieces are fun because you can rearrange them and order different colors. Also they shipped to me in less than a month when other retailers take 8-10 weeks. Brooklyn City Furniture is a great store. I highly recommend using them.
