Greyhound: Bus Station

Spend the extra money to fly to your destination if it’s more than 8 hours away by vehicle. I promise you it’s worth it. We had a 36hr ride each way and regret it completely. All of their stops were very poorly taken care of. They busses themselves were decent, I’ll give them that. The thing that made us really frustrated was that every time they stop at a Greyhound station, YOU HAVE TO GET OFF THE BUS, and normally for over an hour. Then they try to make sure you don’t leave the station, so you can’t go to a local restaurant or coffee shop, you have to eat the super crappy station food. They even wake you up to get off the bus when it’s the middle of the night. Consequently, we only got about three hours of sleep. Most of the staff are pretty rude, too. The whole experience was honestly miserable but my husband made it bearable. I can’t imagine doing that alone. But if you’re fairly close and aren’t planning on sleeping on the bus, it might be worth the money saved.

Horrible customer service and they will rip you off on fairs.. absolutely avoid this terminal if at all possible . A 23.00 dollar fair cost me over 108.00.. horrible

Seats are dirty, sticky, greasy dirt stuck on seat of pants and back of shirt. Men's restroom stinks. People responsible to clean work like no one is employed to clean. Why not just cut costs, don't have janitorial. It won't get any cleaner, paying them to clean. I worked since 1998, cleaning new houses. Buyers paying $500,000 and up don"t want dust. I get $10/hr., work fast or builder gets someone else.

Security and attendants are "doing" their jobs. I could've sworn I just tried to pickpocket the price of persia when I asked the security what was just announced. If you wanna pretend to be a speaker, please have a compatible hard drive. NO HELP! MAD VOLUME!

This bus station works efficiently. It's a good hub. It could use more parking space. I don't know how they would manage that. But it's a concern. Outdoor lighting could be better at night.
