Visiting the Big Apple with my family and my oldest wanted Greek food. We were pleasant surprised! We really enjoyed the sodas, especially the orange hibiscus flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping my husband and I save a bit of $$$ with our kiddos and their food choices. Overall, my husband and I were satisfied.
I’m shocked that the reviews are so low, I don’t see why they would be. I really enjoyed this place. I got the orzo with chicken, and I really enjoyed it. The portion was pretty sizable, and the price was fair. It took a little while to get our food, but it wasn’t an outrageous wait by any means. I’d definitely recommend this place to a friend for a quick bite!
Good and fast food. most products only need assembly and are quickly prepared. The flavors are good and the meals are very satisfying. Excellent soda selection from Stubborn.
tryed again. no! dry meat tastes like cardboard with lots of keeping moist oil added to. this time french fries either old or cooked wrong. 0 taste and looked like they wet. tzaziki tasted like lavender flower. If you would cut off meat you have on the grill when making order then yes, otherwise is very far from greek food! without any taste and very old and dry. not coming back.
I had a souvlaki plate. Pretty good beans and rice, great spicy tzatziki. Good chicken souvlaki, the shaved kind. A little less meat than I'd anticipated for the price. Great pita! Will probably return
This place is anything but fresh! Terrible, bland come to mind. The Greek salad doesn’t come with lettuce. It was basically all tomatoes that were malty. Just terrible. If I didn’t live so far I would would have returned. Staff was great and place was clean.
Surprisingly good lunch spot. Healthy, fresh, and well priced. Will be back!
A gyro is a hard thing to screw up, or so I thought. A tiny portion on a pita that had been sitting out for far too long, not to mention that it took 12 mins to come out in an empty restaurant. Head the street cart for better view and taste.
Food is good. Been here twice. Do not get the very long waits after you order, especially at 2PM in a mostly empty restaurant. Everyone appreciates fresh food, but a Yeero should not take 15 minutes. I guess you should order ahead. Also very expensive. The street food carts have comparable food if you know the ones to go to, are quicker by a magnitude, and half the price. Sense is that this place will not survive unless they fix their problems. Shame because as I stated, the food is pretty good.
AVOID AT ALL COST! Absolutely terrible experience. A group of eight were treated with the most rude behavior imaginable. We tried to clean up and were told that we were putting trays in the wrong place. Really? And the food does not even deserve a review. So not surprised that the restaurant is almost always empty when I walk by on 8th St. For extremely good reasons. If the food could justify this rude behavior, fine. But no. If this were my restaurant, and I have some experience, none of your employees would still be employees. Clean house. Dreadful!!!
