Ground Zero Blues Club

This is one of my most frequented destinations. If you're looking for great music, great food, in a relaxing and inviting environment - this is the place! There is nothing fancy here, and rightfully so. It's the kind of place you can let loose without any cares in the world. I have brought many friends and family members here and every single one of them fall in love with the place. If possible, book a room upstairs in advance so you don't have to travel far at night. There's plenty to do in the area, and if you are a blues fan (which you darn well should be), there's no end to the local shops, juke joints, and music venues nearby. I like to spend 3 nights and 4 days generally so I can take my time and visit all that I can. Also, there's always a chance of bumping into Morgan Freemon. He's a terrific guy if you get the opportunity to meet him. And don't forget to sign your name on the wall - if you can find a place.

Amazing. Great crowd and ambient. The bands and the vibe of the venue is amazing. Definitely a place to visit.

It's just OK. If you're here for blues you'd be better off going to Red's. If you're here for food you'd be better off going to Abe's. If you want to say you've been to Morgan Freeman's club then come here.

Don’t go. Not friendly. Not professional. They wouldn’t refund our $ after 5 min of entry. We still had our coats on and the band didn’t even play 1 song. Manager Candy wouldn’t face us. « We were told she just left out the back door ».
