Grown&Sewn is dedicated to create, influence and inspire; resulting in great product and an authentic lifestyle®

Founder and CEO - Robert Wesley Magness, was raised in The Lone Star State of Texas. Rob's first job was at age 23 in Texas, working at Ralph Lauren in the Shipping and Receiving department before quickly moving into the Polo Ralph Lauren stores across the midwest.

A few years later he transferred with Ralph Lauren and moved to New York City; working at the Flagship Store on Madison Ave. He then spent 10 years as the Senior Men’s Design Director at Polo Ralph Lauren.

Passionate about quality, he wanted to go back to his roots and create a collection based on American history and culture right here, in the heart of New York City. In 2009 Rob followed his passion and opened Grown&Sewn.

Since then Grown&Sewn has gone on to launch a Flagship Store in TriBeCa, New York and two stores in Japan alongside SHIPS Ltd.

An exceptional indie brand that makes, hands-down, the best men's khakis on the market. Perfectly constructed without feeling fussy; classically styled without looking old-fashioned. If you visit their Franklin St. shop you may very well be assisted by one of the two owners, who are as unpretentious yet exacting as you'd hope for.
Stopped in the Redwing Heritage pop up last weekend when we were in town for a few days. Super helpful, had a full range of heritage styles to ogle and try on, INCLUDING WOMEN’S styles. Super helpful and easy to talk to folks. I picked up a new pair of Rovers in a size that was new to me so I’m glad I got to try them on.
