Gruene Outpost River Lodge

This is a great location right on the river and a couple minutes drive to down town Gruene. The rooms are old but everything was clean and there was plenty of room to sleep all 5 of us. While they do have a TV and cable don't go there planning on spending a lot down time in the room. The TV is old and small, the kitchen is also small. But yes it has a kitchen, a full kitchen. So you can spend a few days there no problem. Best thing about the place is location and you don't need more then 1 room to fit a large family.

Brought the family for our summer vacation and absolutely loved the place and it's location. The Property Manager Brian, is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING person - He went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. Brian and his staff addressed all needs we had immediately so that we did not have any issues. We loved that the river was just a short walk down the hill and the pool directly across from our room. The picnic tables and grills scattered all across the property definitely came in handy. We will DEFINITELY be coming back again next summer with our whole crew!

Its was a nice little cabin motel on the side of the river with firepits, Bar-b-q pits, its right on the river and its just over all cozzy. Could use a little more updated and bigger t.v. in the room.

Old, but clean with private river access where you can rent tubes & kayaks

Right next to the river. Not fancy or anything but a good price for a great weekend or holiday!
