I would honestly give this place a 2.5 star rating if it was possibly. I ordered delivery for one of their Chicken Kabob and Shish Kabob Platters for ($14.99). The food arrived quickly, was exactly how I ordered and hot. The major issue overall was that flavor. The chicken and beef were cooked perfectly (tender and juicy) but the seasoning was lacking and just very bland. The meat needs to be marinated much longer to allow the flavor to penetrate IMO. The platter comes with mixed vegetables (medley of corn, carrots, peas & sliced string beans) which were definitely frozen. The yellow rice was cooked fine but again lacking any real flavor. I also ordered the Baba Ghanoush which had a nice consistency but was very bitter, bland and lacked a true smoky flavor. It was like the eggplant was barely roasted if at all. Overall okay but I think for this platter a price of $9.99 would be fair when judging the quality, flavor and size.

The chicken shawarma is OFF THE HOOK good. Fantastic portion of chicken. The meat is not fatty at all. Perfectly spiced. Really amazing.

I ordered via Grub Hub tonight and felt that the restaurant was not honest with their menu. The difference between the Platters and the Gypsy box based off the menu details seemed to be that the platter comes with sautéed vegetables and the box comes with salad. I’m not sure what the difference in size is but I paid the $4 (x2) difference for the platters to get sautéed vegetables but instead received salad on both. The menu also said the platters includes pita but we did not receive it. We called the restaurant and they said they were busy and all they had was salad right now. They acknowledged that they forgot the pita bread but kept saying it would take a long time for us to receive it and tried to rush us off the phone. When I asked again about getting the pita, once again they said it would take a looong time and tried to hang up. No other compensation was offered for the missing item and the food substitute. I felt pretty swindled by the restaurant for both the substitute and the missing pita.

The gypsy grill makes a decent felafel sandwich. Bread was a little dry but the flavor was still good. Their spicy sauces are the best.

Good chicken and lamb shawarma. Parking is a freakin pain to find. Must try bakhlava too. Yummy.
