Great place to eat and you have to respect the hustle of the older gentlemen handling the money. Our server was an older man and I appreciated that he's still working. Family run operation, give then time to count the change. Don't be rude. The noodles were not bad and freshly pulled. Definitely worth it if you need a quick pick me up. Also let me say they were the ONLY noodle house open at like 10pm on a Tuesday. The city definitely sleeps now, so its great that places like this one stay open a bit later. Support their business and stip by for dumplings and noodles.
We went right during lunch rush so the wait time was about 45 minutes. It's a smaller restaurant, but we saw how highly it ranked- and it definitely delivered! We ordered the steam dumplings, the wontons with noodles, chow mein, and steamed barbecue pork buns. Definitely worth the wait- every single dish came out perfect. All the dishes were authentic, noodles made from scratch. Really great pricing, and awesome experience!
I've you are overwhelmed in Chinatown and don't no where to go - choose this place. Just walk in, check the large menu and order some nice food. Vegetarian options available - try the dumplings! The prices are reasonable and the recommendations written on banknotes from all over the world speak for themselves.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
I ordered Beef Brisket Rice Noodles in Casserole. It was placed on a disposable plastic plate, so there was no casserole. The rice noodles were so dry, and I can tell it was not cooked with the beef brisket in the casserole. The beef brisket was tender enough, but no favour at all. The sauce was just like soy sauce. They gave me a bill not itemised. I believe they added tax and trips on top of it already. But they didn’t give me any changes, effectively charged trips twice. Not honest too.
I went with my fiancé and his family, some of whom were visiting from Honduras. We were a big group of 11 but the staff at the restaurant hustled to get us all seated right away. They accommodated us ordering multiple different dishes to share, and also got everything out really fast! The food was delicious, especially the rice noodles and pork fried dumpling! We also had some Honduran dollars that we were able to write on and stick to the back wall of dollars other guests left. Overall it was fantastic food and a really great staff. I definitely recommend!
A taste of nostalgia! A+ macaroni wonton soup! I've had something similar as a child living in Malaysia & Singapore. I couldn't recall when I first had it. But when the macaroni and a spoonful of soup touched my tongue, I knew right away that it belonged to my childhood. Quick service that was typical in Chinatown. A flaw would be the undercooked chicken. Overall good experience.
The pork and shrimp dumplings were delicious. I had the vegetable dumpling and noodles and it was good too. They also had great chili oil there. Overall this place needs underrated and needs more clout.
When in China town, you have to sample Chinese food, and this is a good place to do that. It’s a small restaurant but very authentic and the chef cooks your food in front of you. I tried the Jumbo Shrimp noodles and it was really delicious.
This place is really good! Very plain and normal out front, inside is super clean, COVID secure and service was friendly and prompt. The entire menu looked amazing. Person I was with had selective diet so we kept it simple with Seafood Delight and Shrimp Fried Rice. However the noodles and dumplings and really everything on the menu looked super delicious and tasty. Great for simple and easy Chinatown spot.
