We love food, that simple. It started out with an idea between friends and family. We are now in the works of opening up first location in the South Bronx.

Story

Habanero is family owned and run restaurant. It's roots trace back to Puebla, Mexico. A state located 2 hours away from Mexico city.



Puebla is known for its rich culinary history, skilled artisans, and beautiful architecture. Half of the family grew up in Puebla where they learned the strong bond that people had toward the culture and their food. From Sundays going to church and having a traditional atole and tamal to going to the local markets to get fresh produce, literally farmed and picked by the people trek into the city to sell them. This was all been a big part in the food we create. We believe that food should be tasty as well as beautiful.
