I worked with Emilia to find an apartment. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. The process of viewing the apartment, applying and getting approved happened all under two weeks. I personally had no issues with my deposit or lease and other members of the Hagstrom team such as Lauren and Crystal were all very efficient and helpful. Emilia went out her way and above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. Very appreciative to Emilia & Hagstrom as a whole, definitely recommend.

My roommate and I were looking for places in Brooklyn, and Emilia let us know about a listing that was absolutely PERFECT for us! She was so quick to get us in to see it, as well as answering our questions, and getting back to us quickly if she didn’t have an immediate answer. Our experience with her and Hagstrom was fantastic - they made a really stressful process feel easy breezy! Thanks so much y’all!

Emilia at Hagstrom Management was very helpful in my apartment search! She was reliable and answered all questions throughly in a timely manner. Very nice and understanding. Hagstrom definitely puts your interests and needs as a tenant first and helps you through the process. I’d go through her again in the future.

These people are out to scam you. In person I was told to put my deposit down to guarantee my room and then the apartment didn't work out due to miscommunication from the relatively new agent Cleo. She passed me on to her manager who has obviously done this to people many times. They ask for a deposit via Venmo while stating it is 100 percent refundable and easy to do so. Now it has been 2 weeks since this whole debacle and ope, guess what! No refund, no responses to my many voice-mails and emails, and now I am out a large sum of money I need to get into the next place. They lied about the process and the lease, they then lied about "expediting" my refund process which is supposedly being sent by check through the mail?? And now I am out this money and struggling to find another spot. I have held back on making this review because I don't like to leave bad reviews and figured I would get my refund in a timely manner due to my conversation with the manager. However, due to the dire position they have put me in, and the absolute lack of response and deeply unprofessional actions, here I am. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. You've been warned.

Jadine was amazing for us through this process. We had to do most of our search long-distance and online and she was super available and prompt with all communication! Even took me on a FaceTime tour of unit when I asked last minute. We’re very pleased with our apartment and so grateful Jadine was able to help us secure it! Would definitely recommend working with her if you are trying find an apartment :

BEWARE!!!!!! FRADULENT BUSINESS!!! I submitted a security deposit payment for an apartment on behalf of my sister. When my sister subsequently elected not to sign a lease I requested a refund from Hagstrom NYC. My refund was approved but a check was NEVER mailed to me. I followed up and they said they expedited a check to my address and also gave me an option to pick up a check from their office. I picked up a check from their office and the check bounced!! On top of that, the check they claimed to have expedited NEVER came in the mail!! THEY ARE SCAMMING FRAUDSTERS!!! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Jadine was a pleasure to work with! She made this process so much less overwhelming, it was swift and she was as sweet as can be!! She is super accommodating and made this process a lot less stressful. We can’t thank her enough!!!

We had a great experience working with Marvin!! Super communicative, responsive, and helpful through the entire process. It was quick and seamless and within 2 weeks we were in our dream apt!

This is a scam. Jadine Pecora asked us to put down a refundable deposit for an apartment which she promised would be returned if we did not get the apartment for any reason. This was a full month of rent. She then proceeded to not take it off the market, give the apartment away, and ghost all emails and calls. It has been nearly a month and she has yet to respond even though she legally owes us our deposit back. We are in the process of reporting Jadine Pecora and Hagstrom to the Real Estate Board of New York.

I was working with Jadine to tour a unit in Williamsburg. She encouraged me to put a deposit down to secure the apartment. The apartment didn’t work out, but they have not returned my money. She told me to call and email for a refund, but it has been 2.5 MONTHS and I still have not received my refund. They stole thousands from us during a recession and won’t respond to calls and e-mails. AVOID at all costs
