Hallmark Creations

This Hallmark has an amazing selection. They carry much more than greeting cards and wrapping needs. They also have chocolates, hand creams and soaps, clothing and bags. It is a wonderful place to drop in to pick up some nice gifts.

While I don't visit regularly, in the 15 years that I've lived in Alexandria, I've always liked this Hallmark store. Lots of merchandise, name brands & some really cute stuff. BIG PLUS I like supporting local over Amazon any day.

I walked in and overheard the cashier ask if the customer qualified for a military discount she had been seen there before. When I got to the register, I was asked if I wanted to become a member. I declined because I am not from the area and I do not have Hallmark stores near me that I could frequent. I asked if there was a military discount. The cashier responded “for members”. I just got off the phone with corporate and they stated that this is not a policy. Any qualifying customer can receive the discount, whether they are a member or not.

Pros - convenient location, with plenty of parking. The store has a nice variety of cards and cute gifts for any occasion. Cons - customer service is poor. I’ve been there a few times recently and I’ve never been greeted, asked if I need assistance or even acknowledged by the workers. I find the sales people very rude. Secondly, the prices can be on the expensive side. And, the parking lot is a bit crazy & crowded, so use caution.

A nice store with everything and add sales which make shopping better. A lot of gift ideas for all the upcoming holidays. We got great sale prices on most of what we purchased. A nice quiet store to shop and spend time in.

Blonde older lady with the shoulder length Bob, wouldn’t even take the time to look me in the face when I was asking a question didn’t even greet me. Imagine saying hi, good morning and a staff glance at you and keep going. Total let down! Do better!

One of the best Hallmark stores I have ever visited; spacious with a large selection of cards, gifts, candles and accessories.

Decent selection but lacks on friendliness. As I'm not originally from here..I miss my home town location where they greet you, get to know you and far more inviting.

Great place to look for gifts and cards.
