This hotel was not up to Hampton or Hilton standards at all. Rooms were dated. Carpet was torn. Bedding was not the normal fluffy bedding I expect at a Hilton. Tiny pillows. Thin comforter. Shower head was broken. Breakfast was horrible. Oatmeal was severely undercooked. Do better Hilton.Rooms: 2/5
I Do a lot of Hampton Inns over the years. The pool and hot tub area is very nice. The rooms are nice but older design. I stayed in a King with a pull-out. The room had a partial divider making it feel cramped to me. It was in a older part of SLC as well. Access was easyRooms: 3/5
Staff here is friendly and lobby is nice. Reviews that mention how dog-eared this hotel is are correct. The tile floors are nice, but the carpets in the room and the hallways are long overdue for replacement. The doors and walls are dinged up as well. That said, my room except the carpet was very tidy and the bathroom was decent. My bed was clean and the pillows were nice. The a/c unit was very quiet and performed well. The couch was pretty beat up and stained as well. Finally, the neighborhood seems pretty sketch. The front desk assured me it was safe. Anyhoo, I have stayed in worse places. I wouldnt stay here again but if you need a spot for the night, it's ok. Hilton needs to spend a dime or two on this place.
Employees were nice, location is convenient to airport. The room 132 had an absolutely disgusting floor of square carpet tiles that were super stained, dirty, and you could see the gaps between them. Not entirely the hotel fault but our neighbors were having a party in their room with loud music and many guests. Rooms: Carpet was disgustingly dirty.
Hotel is very beaten down. We stayed in 106. Wallpaper and walls showing lots of age. Electric sockets missing covers. Several outlets just didn’t work. Beds very old, uncomfortable. Our room lacked water and bar soap.Rooms: 2/5
The walls are thin, and we had really loud and rowdy neighbors during our stay. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was somewhat musty smelling with small signs of wear and tear. Breakfast was okay, but nothing really amazing.Rooms: 3/5
The disparity between the price and experience quality is vast. I walk into my room, 302, and I immediately see the following: - peeling paint on the ceiling - broken thermostat - broken window curtains - backless desk chair I was floored. I immediately called the front desk and raised these flags. Mostly with the intent to document that none of these damages were caused by me. Silver linings? Large room. Clean bathroom. But that’s really it. Even the breakfast was woefully serviced. Overall- Staying at this Hampton Inn is equivalent to booking at a motel: dingy, rundown, and outdated. I won’t stay here again. The irony of the whole thing? I’m attending a conference where the CEO of Hilton is celebrating the quality of customer experiences at their hotels. And yet, my experience has been far from quality.
The spring mattress was way past its life expectancy, the room was above the pool and smelled like it, the pillows were strangely sized and over-firm, and the hallways were overcompensating for some smell with a powerful fragrance. Otherwise, a quiet and restful stayRooms: 1/5
Decent motel, good and clean rooms, breakfast sadly couldn’t provide plant milk or plant yoghurt. Location is a bit far from downtown, but close to the Interstates, so it’s easy to get around.Rooms: 5/5
Visiting SLC for the first time for work it is probably not the nicest hotel in town but the service is amazing. The front desk receptionist from 2/24 at night, was very nice once we arrived she immediately greeted us and check us in, someone had forgot a toothbrush and immediately she offered us one complimentary, very professional and great customer service.
