I was having some severe nerve pain and discomfort in my right hand, which also effected my elbow, and was recommended to visit Dr. Lopez. He examined my hand and tried treatment brace for about 6 weeks. Once we determined that the brace didn't provide the relief, I was took an nerve test and it was discovered I suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome. The surgery was schedule by Dr. Lopez fairly quickly, and everything has gone as planned. The surgery was easy, with relatively no major discomfort. A great therapist was recommended and after 6 months my hand is pain free. Dr. Lopez is very thorough in explaining the science of everything, and is attentive to your needs. The office visit was prompt and always stress free. His staff is great and Dr. Lopez is one of the very best! I highly recommend Hand Surgery Specialist to anyone who has hand pain. You'll be in "good hands" with Dr. Lopez!
I went in for a broken wrist and pulled ligaments.... Dr. Khorsandi did a super job in repairing it all. He is one of the best Doctors I have seen in years. He is competent, knowledgeable, and sincerely cares about his patients. His staff is extremely nice and helpful, and he is just a top-notch doctor. I would trust him with my life. Highly recommend him.
I am a 61 yr. old male with a total of 12 surgeries by s variety of doctors. Dr Maximo is the best of all I have seen. I tore my bicep tendon from the bone in 2016 and had it repaired. I endured pain, understanding I know pain, until I couldn’t take it any more. My right hand would not work even to put the lid on the milk without excruciating pain. I had surgery in September and in the recovery it already felt better but I knew that was the drugs. But somehow it felt significantly better. Dr. Maximo explained the first surgeon had nicked a nerve in the first surgery. He told me he was able to do a lot of work to repair it but couldn’t guarantee to what degree. I just had my followup do to my issues being in Texas. When I saw Dr Maximo I told him I have 90% less pain and 75% better mobilizing in the arm and hand. He is a miracle worker. Dr. Maximo has repaired 6 yr old damage caused by the previous surgeon to almost new for an old man. I so appreciate his work and the care from his entire staff. The best as well in years. Thank you Dr. Maximo and Staff
My husband broke the shaft of the metacarpal under his pinky finger. We were referred by BCBS and saw Dr. Khorsandi. He performed surgery and pins were inserted, which are later removed with another surgery. Procedure was painless and recovery was fast with physical therapy. 100% recommend HSST. Doctor and staff are friendly and very knowledgeable!
Dr.Maximos is my doctor, and I have no issue with him. My issue is with their front desk. I had called to reschedule an appointment and when I was asked why I was coming to see Dr. Maximos, I told her it was to get another injection in my hand, that he had already given me an injection in during a prior procedure. I specifically said that I wanted to be sure he could give me the injection before I even made the hour+ round trip to their office, because I did not want to waste my time. She was dismissive and just said “ Yeah. He can give you another one”. To make a long story, shorter-I went to the wrong location-and when I finally got seen by Dr. Maximos at the right location, he told me that he could NOT give me another injection.. after all that. The irony is that they wasted over 3 hours of my Friday..even when I basically asked them not to. Maybe the receptionist should not answer questions for the medical staff. Just a suggestion.
I had numbness and tingling in my hands when I woke up in the morning, and also had a weaker grip and pain after I used my hands doing almost anything. This fantastic place and their doctors have cured all of this with great care for my well-being. I can’t thank them enough!
The office staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful. I have suffered with Carpal Tunnel for over 10 years, and Dr. Lopez gave me my hands and life back. I would recommend this place to anyone!
I developed a painful trigger finger that needed surgery to fix. In the past I had a bad experience with the traditional surgical method on another trigger finger because the large incision into the soft tissues caused lots of swelling and pain. After doing some research I decided to try the minimally invasive procedure that Dr. Lopez uses. The differences in recovery were phenomenal. After surgery I had almost full use of my hand with very little pain and swelling. The recovery time was so much faster using the endoscopic method instead of the traditional large incision method. After having both types of surgery I will always choose the endoscopic method for any future trigger finger surgery I may need. Dr. Lopez was great…He did an excellent job explaining and discussing both methods of surgery so it was easy to weigh advantages against the disadvantages of each method. The whole staff at the clinic were extremely nice and personable – I actually enjoyed the whole experience.
Dr. Randolph Lopez took great care of my wrist/hand pain. As always, I waited until I couldn't bear the pain anymore before seeing him. The problem ended up being 2 cysts at the base of my thumb/top of my wrist. Dr. Lopez took care of me and did away with my pain. He fully answered all of my questions and concerns and made sure I had a thorough understanding of my pending procedure. His charismatic bedside manner made me I feel as though we've known each other for years. Dr. Randolph Lopez is a true medical professional who knows his stuff, I will definitely see him again if needed. I 100% recommend him to anyone with hand/wrist issues.
Dr. Maximos is amazing and goes far above and beyond expectations. My family has seen him on numerous different occasions and not once did we leave the office or surgery center unhappy with the results/outcome. He and his staff are always professional and helpful. And I love that when I have called in the past, needing to be seen as soon as possible they work us in to his schedule and we were able to seen the same day. I would definitely recommend Dr. Maximos to anyone in need and looking for hand specialist. 5 out of 5 stars!!
