I'm not familiar with Handy Park pre-renovation, but it's a nice open space. I loved that we could bring our lawn chairs and blankets. Fun times were definitely had at the Get Loud concert kick-off and I look forward to attending more free concerts in Handy Park!
Although we were booked elsewhere, we stopped by at 5 p.m. to see the ducks walk. It was a very popular thus crowded event. We liked it fine.
Great staff I some with Em powers over the phone she stayed connected which is excellence then when I arrived at my location for pick up in memphis Toby was even more excellent. !! I love my car thank you carmax. Very convenient!
The park at the end of the street, the whole street, it was all great. There wasn't any music at The Juke Joint...my only disappointment. Thanks Beale street for being the dessert after those fabbie ribs.
Ruined by “Renovation”! They removed all the big shade trees. Moved the statue. Demolished the old brick archways. Removed the park benches. And replaced it all with a big slab of cement. Ugly and uninviting.
Praying for Music Memphis and Miracles! Can’t wait for live concerts and electric energy
First time in Memphis! Enjoyed free and loud music at the park just "ten feet of off Beale". Good times!!
Love the upgrades to the Handy Park Pavilion need more entertainment to finish it off.
Very nice exhibit of the artist that made up Stax..outfits of Ike and Tina Turner
On Bealte street. Have some benches to rest after a long walk. Can hear music from other places around it.
