I had a scheduled appointment and had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. First I will say I have never seen a nastier salon in my life. This place does not clean their brushes, their containers that hold the acrylic powder and liquid have crust all over and in them…their tables are full of spills and dust from who knows when…and the social distancing shields are full of splatter and fingerprints. They do not clean or sanitize between clients, they had me sit right after someone else and their nail dust was still on the table so she just laid a towel over it all, I guess that’s how they clean Cover it up and it’ll be fine Second. She drilled so deep into my natural nail. I could feel it burning and kept pulling away but it happened on almost every nail, I have never had that happen before at any salon. Third. My nails are so thin, I hit them off the wall at work and two of them broke right off. I didn’t even feel it, I didn’t know until someone told me. If they were done correctly it would have hurt sooooo bad two break off two nails….they are not all the same thickness. One of them broke off clean but the one next to it broke just the end of tip. I can see that the one that just broke the tip is much thicker towards my cuticle than the one that broke off all the way. Just the fact that this place has such poor hygiene is enough to not go back but I am very unhappy now. I just got these done 5 days ago and have to go get a whole new fix and color now. If you are looking for somewhere cheap and something that looks good this is deff a good place if you can deal w a little bit of pain and other woman’s nail dust in yours Service: Acrylic nails
The manager did my acrylic nails and they all fell off from one hand the next day. I told her I wanted a specific color and she put me a color that she thought was better. This was my worst experience with them. I went with a friend that day and we were supposed to match nails, but hers were much better, done by another employee, and lasted a much longer time.
I wanted to give a better review than this, but unfortunately the quality of services is very random based on who is serving you. I’ve gotten five star manicures here, and today I got a manicure so bad that Im literally on my way to another salon to get it taken off and redone. And I’m not sure if I should go back. I gave up on trying to tell the manicurist what she needed to change, because she just wasn’t taking any of my feedback. She didn’t push my cuticles down, until I asked 3 times. She was way too rough with the grinding tool, my nails are sore and my toes still hurt because she ground so deep. She didn’t file my nails to the be the same shape, and left me with weird lumpy nail polish that is so far up my nail that it looks like my manicure already grew out. Super weird. I asked a few times if she would please paint down to the bottom and she kept saying yes, and each time she still didn’t. She also cut my toenails wayyyy too short, even thought I asked for her to just file them. And she shaped them square even though I asked repeatedly for them to be round. But they’re now so short that I can’t reshape them myself and my toes look super short and stubby pretty bummed I just spent like 100$ on lumpy nails that look grown out. I always feel awkward asking for better service or complaining, but this was just silly today.
I am obsessed with this place!! Every time I come here, I ask for Vin! She is incredible and always makes me feel good after my appointments. She takes her time, knows when I want to chat, and is always accommodating. If you go here, definitely ask for her! She’s the best! Such a friendly environment too.Services: Acrylic nails
The first time I went there I was amazed at the pricing and the amazing service I had done with Vin. Today I went and I had to walk out. The poor girl who did my nails was new and overwhelmed and just trying to be positive but she told me after an hour of just taking off my polish and starting on my cuticle cut that she doesn’t know how to do French tips. She told me she’d try and get her boss or someone else to help so I was patient. After an hour and a half and she finished the cuticles but hadn’t started on the buffing I had to tell them I’m leaving. I’ve never in my life left a nail salon. I booked this a appointment a week in advance and told the place that I wanted a gel manicure on my natural nails with design. Knowing that why would they put me with someone who doesn’t know how to do a French tip nail ? Honestly I thought this place would be worth it but it’s not worth the gamble for me. Had she done the polish on me I’m sure I’d have been there for three hours and I’d have to go somewhere else to fix them anyways.Service: Manicure
They are slow but don't rush walk-ins like some places. Alot of options for nail design. 3d designs for acrylic see pic. Multiple ARTISTS with acrylic skills rather than only one good artist, like many salons. I will be returning, their pricing is low enough that I was able to leave a large tip, and leave feeling like I got a good value and was very happy.Services: Waxing
Expensive but very good service! The nail tech took her nail and did exactly what I wanted, I highly recommend Happy Nail in Portland!!Service: Acrylic nails
Took two hours after originally saying 45 minutes. A woman yelled at my nail tech while I was there for twenty straight minutes! Woman next to me had clumpy nail polish. Says on website 45 for acrylic pink and white, charged 60. Cute nails but am in severe pain from how deep they filed, will never go again! If you're asking yourself if you should go, bring your business else where 2.5 stars.
