Harford County Public Library

This place is amazing for kids. The kids area is like a kids museum or discovery center. There’s tons of learning things to play with and see. They have a 3D printer the kids can pick small items from for free and watch them get printed. They have a computer controlled watercolor drawing maker. They have so many different types of blocks and building toys I can’t list them all. You can rent movies, games, toys, and even books if you want :) We try to take our daughter weekly to rent a movie or two, 4 books, and maybe a toy. If we’d have known about this place sooner, she’d probably have much less kid toys of her own and we’d just keep a fresh supply from here. The library is not just a quiet place to get old dusty books anymore.

Awesome place. My children just adore this library. Staff is very helpful and happy to be working there. Best library in a Harford county for sure.

Huge library with plenty of study spaces and sitting areas. You could spend all day looking through the materials because they have so much. And best of all it's quiet, the kid's section is downstairs and the adults are upstairs. It's an older design so it's not a "community center," people actually come in to read and not to socialize or hang out like they're at the mall. I don't live in the area but I try to come here when I can. Awesome place!

Friendly competent staff and very patient. Amazing collection of materials and resources. Constantly uupdating .
