Perryville Branch Library

This is an absolute, first-class library. As a veteran who has spent a good deal of time in various cities, I've visited many different libraries and have held many different library cards. In doing so, I feel I can speak with some authority on the subject. This is one of the best library's I've had the pleasure of visiting. I only wish I had more time to spend there. The architecture is phenomenal, the building is clean, assistance is topnotch, the selection is varied and comprehensive and the atmosphere is everything one would expect. There are plenty of computers with available training if necessary. I simply cannot say enough good things about this library. Check it out, you'll be glad you did...oh, by the way...happy reading.

This is a fabulous and beautiful library. The staff are very helpful, nice, and patient. I've seen the staff help many people with understanding the resources available and teach them on how to use the computers and research. When some children were above a comfortable library level of noise, one of the staff did intervene and brilliantly provided headphones to them instead of demanding silence. If a book or video isn't available, they will get it. There is space for study, groups, meetings, and children. Visit your local library and support them. I do.

I cannot express how much I love this library!!!! I actually look forward to coming here when I can. Really spacious, plenty of study rooms. I love how the windows are tall and the building is surrounded by nature, so when you look out all you see are trees. It's very calming. The children's room is beautiful, it's so colorful! There's a huge selection of materials, especially the DVDs, they have every tv show imaginable. Great place to study, read, or just simply relax.

Perryville library is a great library. Lots of nice seating. It has 2 nice private study rooms that are very helpful when writing papers. The children's department is wonderful.

It's beautiful. I love going there. It can be noisy after school, but the librarians are always kind.
