Harlem Hype Tattoo & Body Piercing

I'll admit I had some issues finding this shop at first & walked past it once or twice! The storefront is a barber, and you will enter it and walk to the back of it and there is Harlem Hype. Richard/Rich was the one who pierced me. He expressed that he had been piercing for 12 years and I found that very evident in his work. He was incredibly professional and clean, and he made the process very comfortable and quick. The pricing is incredible and I don't think there's a better deal in Brooklyn.

So my friend and I were looking for a place that did walkin piercings. We found Harlem hype piercings, and we are so thankful we did. You do have to pass through a barber shop to get there but disregard this. The manager is Rich. He was so lovely and caring towards my friend who was a bit nervous. They also offer a one week follow up to check up on the piercing, which I've never seen before. 10/10

I have had a septum and nipple piercings done here by Darius and I am most satisfied with the service. He was very patient and polite. He did a great job with both areas and was open to my follow up questions. I'd recommend them to anyone who is interested in piercings, especially if you have anxiety like me...and you will have anxiety with piercings hahaha. Thanks again

Had such an awesome time! My boyfriend and I came in for a walk in with G, the tattoo artist available when we came in. D who manages the shop was also super welcoming! Very fun and professional environment! We had line work tattoos done and they both turned out great. Don’t pass this place up!

Got my nipples redone here today and it was less painful than the first time, placement was good and materials were clean and affordable. He talked me through it and was very fast. Dezo is a great piercer definitely recommend

Got pierced by Richard. Super professional! We were two late night walk-ins and he was quick and gave us tons of tips on aftercare. Will definitely be going back for the rest of my piercings!

This place is a real one. Located at the back of a barber shop, other places wanted $65 and $40 but they only charged me $20. My eyebrow piercing developed a weird bump under it so I went in to get the jewelry changed out and get care advice. I'm pleased to say that it's been consistently been decreasing in size since I visited. Thank you Harlem Hype!

My friends and I wanted simple line tattoos. We provided drawings and the pictures we based them off of to have the artist square everything up and make things perfect took a few tries. Well, they turned out pretty messy. Lines were not straight and the spacing/line weight were not there either. Seemed like such a simple design too.. On the bright side we got matching wonky tattoos from a dude named Ratchet! Fun story, won’t be going back any time soon. The guys running the place were nice.

Yesterday I got a piercing done for the first time at this place. I must say I'm very impressed. The staff were very nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable. And my piercing was gentle, quick, and painless. I would come back thanks again
