The front desk attendant was pleasant but not very welcoming. Elevators were very slow and one was out of order for a very busy weekend. A bit disappointed in quality of our room considering cost. Stained upholstery, stained carpet with ground in gum from who knows how long. The bathroom vanity was cracked almost all the way across. Coffee maker still had coffee bags from previous guest, not sure how long they may have been there. Bathtub drained very slow, didn't consider using it. The lighted mirror was broken, no light. We have paid half the cost for much better rooms everywhere we go. Will not stay at this location again... The concierge desk clerk was quite friendly and very informative. Suggested restaurants and gave us instructions on parking, getting around and surrounding area. Kudos to him!
Location is prime it's close in walking distance to everything, We had5 rooms, The 2 Housekeepers that we had were very friendly the front desk was very friendly the hotel manager was very friendly. Our bathroom had pieces of rolled up toilet paper everywhere, there were dirty towels still left in the bathroom that smelled like urine, The rest of the room seemed to be pretty clean just the bathroom was overlooked a bit. The floor that we stayed on, the soda machine was stopped up you couldn't get your drinks out, But they did tell us to come down the next morning and they would give us a refund. The view out the window is beautiful the room itself is very pretty nice bed comfortable mattress nice pillows and sheets So overall it is a nice place to stay there was just an overlook in our bathroom, Can't be perfect all the time, But it wasn't bad enough that we wouldn't stay again!
Stayed here this past weekend while visit NOLA—my friends and I got a Premium 2 Queens Room. The room was clean and pretty spacious. The hotel and casino are separate buildings—it’s a short walk to get from one to the other but you will need to be mindful when getting picked up or dropped off, so they go to the correct entrance. The casino is fairly huge—a decent amount of tables and lots of slot machines throughout. They also have a Sportsbet center to place sport bets. Drinks are free if you are gambling, so that’s always nice!
We enjoyed the river view from our 19th floor room. The views of the sunrise each morning was amazing! The room we stayed in was nice but showed signs of wear and tear. Service and hospitality of staff was professional and helpful. If there was one thing I could request, I would ask for a microwave in our room or minimally on the floor we were on. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
It's right within walking distance of everything you'd want to go to. Casino is nice since there's no smoking inside. Rooms were a little aged feeling, housekeeping could have been improved. Overall was ok but housekeeping needs to be improved.Rooms: 2/5
Make sure to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. The suites are spacious with a separate living room and bedroom. King size bed rooms are great also with a good amount of lounging space. Extra chairs and couch with a fridge and iron included. Separate shower and deep bathtubs. And the casino is right there next to it!
Really fun, good drinks and awesome staff. I was drinking Disaranno all night and it only cost me $20 bucks at the quarter slots by the end of it. Really eclectic art styles, nice food too! Didn't do a lot of other things, but overall would recommend a visit if you get the chance. It's right by the Aquarium too, who doesn't love watching Sharks?
This is more based on the casino. Which was pretty big. Multiple bars and food options. We had no problem finding a place to play. When it got time to eat there was a fudruckers inside that we chose to eat at and it was great. The employees were nice and fun.
First time to New Orleans and an invited Caesars Diamond Plus guest. I felt like I came in off the street. Southern hospitality, not here. Must ask and pay for everything, no matter how much you gamble. I'm not saying this because I lost A LOT of money in this casino. It was a chore to ask for additional pillows and towels. We had unexpected travel plan changes and arrived early, early check-in cost us $30. You want a late check out? That will cost you $25. I have been a Diamond member with Caesars/Harrah's for many years. I have never felt that this status meant nothing until this visit.
I've stayed there before so I went back. I guess everything changed after covid. I paid upfront and they still put a $600 hold on my credit card and tried to say it was the $50 security deposit. I only stayed 3 nights. No room service even though you can turn on a green light at the door for it. I had to tell the front desk when we needed towels and toilet paper. Then a couple hours later a bag was hung on my door. I had food comps on my Harrah's card. That is a joke here. The buffet and Diamond lounge are closed. Every other place cost 2-3 times your points. $20 breakfast cost $60 in points. Tried to eat at McAlister. Staff for over 30 minutes gave excuses why they couldn't take my and my 88 year old mothers order. After watching the staff do a zillion other things finally went back to register. Was told I can't take your order. It's shift change. Finally went somewhere else. Room was nice and big and enjoyed the view. Walkability: Couldn't anywhere to walk to Food & drinks: Nowhere good to eat unless you walk to Mamas
