Harris Teeter

The measure of a grocery store is in its vegetables, deli and meat counters, and its cleanliness. This Harris Teeter excels at all of them. The deli and meat counter attendants are friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out and when it's time to check out, you'll always find someone willing to help with a smile.

This is the only large grocery store near Folly and it has a great variety of everything you need. Harris teeter never disappoints, regardless of the location. Staff is wonderful and very friendly.

We were staying on Folly Island so we stopped in to get the supplies we didn't want to bring with us in the car. The selection of vegetables was surprisingly good enough to find everything we needed to grill. Had everything else we needed and the prices were competitive. Cashier asked if we had a Kroger's card to get the store discount (didn't realize they were connected) so that was a bonus.

This appears to be a solid, clean, well-run Harris Teeter. Our visit was quick and easy. This staff was cordial and helpful and the products that we wanted were easy to find on well-stocked shelves. The parking outside is plentiful and organized with easy street access. The store and surroundings appear to be easily navigated by handicapped persons with the possible exception of the men's bathroom which was rather small for a wheel chair. We waited in a short line for less than a minute before anither cashier beckoned us over to check out more quickly through the customer service desk POS. The store looked ready for an inspection.

The deli counter at this location is Absolutly horrendous. Their sign says that breakfast is open at 7am. I work right down the road and stop here for food nearly 5 times a week and they have literally never been open snd ready to make breakfast at 7. Further, there's an older African American woman who works the deli who couldn't have a worst attitude if she tried. She told me during one visit to "go grab that break over there" (out in the store) and bring it to her. I habe stopped going to the deli because of this woman.
