You have to be very mindful of produce, and look carefully at all pieces. They try hard, but they really do not have enough produce clerks to stay on top of sorting, grading, packaging and unloading. I really think they should downsize to a more manageable footprint, and offer higher quality with a lot fewer varieties - who needs 12 kinds of lettuce?
Meat Dept, under Hugh's supervision, seems to hold its own, though Anthony is missed terribly by the more discerning customer.
On the coffee side - they offer just one selection in whole bean for Decaf. Much improvement needed.
Overall, they must have a lot of waste. Way too many brands, and to be honest, as a regular customer, I do not see movement across many shelves. So, watch your expiration dates!
Oh, and be sure to remind the cashiers to handle your items gently. If you are going to spend $150 on groceries, show some respect to the customer - after all, they took time to shop and select, do not spoil the product by bruising or dropping during payment.

This is the only grocery store that sell unusual items... I can go here to get the items many other grocery stores don't have... They bag your groceries and are very friendly... They even have a fresh sushi deli... They habe samples throughout the store. Fresh produce , fresh seafood, a bakery, clean rest rooms a pharmacy section, I believe money gram too

They care about the customers and each other. It is surreal; it is like a really nice social atmosphere with staff who go above and beyond for us. Keep it up Harris Teeter staff because your kindness is noticed....

Loved that they carry the A2 milk my daughter and I need. Very helpful staff who pointed me in the right direction for the milk case.

Not a good variety of items. Not well organized. Friendly employees and fast service though.
