Hawaii Nails

The best place in town for a pedicure or manicure. I have been going here for pedicures for years and they have always done an amazing job. Last week I went in for my first set of acrylic nails and I went with the recommended "dip" color. Absolutely stellar and long lasting!

I think her name is Tina, she sits right by the front door, she is the sweetest. I can tell this place likes to do right by their customers. I had to wait a little bit but that was expected because it was Friday near closing time and I was a walk in. I didn't complain but not only did she do an amazing job but she took a little bit off the price for my troubles when it wasnt their fault at all. I was quiet but she made the effort to talk to me and ask questions. I've been to places where the polish wouldn't quite go on there right or fuzzies accidentally were on there and they would try to cover it up rather than fix it, not Tina. She fixed it even though she was tight for time with other appointments. I really respect her for that, some places will rush you out of there with your nails looking crazy talking about come back and we will fix it; ain't nobody got time for that. I dont live in Des Moines but whenever I am in town this will definitely be my go to place.

I normally stick pretty close to home with my nails, but I had an event downtown and some time to kill, so I ended up at Hawaii Nails. I was in the mood to experiment and the nail technician was very accommodating. She carried out my vision perfectly and I couldn't be happier! Thanks!

They do a pretty good job, they are fast and friendly.

We're visiting from Florida and my wife and I dropped in for pedicures. We we surprised that we just had to wait 10 minutes or so. We both did the deluxe and were very happy with the result. The young ladies were both very pleasant and did a great job with everything trimming nails, hot rock massage, etc. My wife's only comment was she couldn't get her lady to do the regular massage hard enough. We'll definitely be back next trip.
