Circa 1900. Nestled among ten other historic mansions in Woodland Park, this charming shingle-style inn was completely renovated in 2012. A modern kitchen is blended with a welcoming parlor and family style dining room. With a nod to the inn’s history, four elegant guest rooms are named after previous owners of the home. Bold reds and corals decorate the romantic O’Hara Guest Suite with a contemporary queen bed, comfortable robes, and private bathroom. Large windows, high ceilings, and soothing blue walls give the Nicholas Guest Room an airy atmosphere. Awake each morning to a full, home-cooked breakfast before setting out to explore Columbus. You may park in the gated lot and walk to the Franklin Park Conservatory to explore indoor gardens, a one-mile walking loop, and art sculptures. Ohio State University, restaurants, galleries, and museums are all just minutes away. As evening approaches, sit on the front porch sharing tales of the day and memorable trips from the past.
