Haygood honestly needs to just call it a day and close it’s doors. This place is not only run down and dilapidated, but the AC system is barely puttering along at a cool 80ish degrees, the play place has been closed for months the SOLE reason the party we attended was held here instead of Greenbrier- which they failed to mention, they’ve removed ALL the arcade and claw machines, the dining area has never been open when I’ve been here Saturday and Sunday, AND half the staff is either rude or dumb. We won’t even discuss the total lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and throughout, but it should be mentioned that the roller blades for rent are BEYOND disgusting and in terrible working order and shape. I honestly feel bad for anyone who pays money to have parties here. The one perk? The pre-scooped ice cream is delicious. Pizza was pretty OK but nothing to celebrate. Seriously, either close down for a full reno/remodel or just close.
Haygood is a wonderful, family friendly, fun place to hang out. It is a great place for birthday parties, also! My daughter has chosen to have her birthday there four times in the past. She absolutely loves to skate and we love to go as a family, too. The pizza is pretty good and the staff is friendly and helpful and has been around for years. Don't overlook this place at all!
Great roller rink that’s stood the test of time, with new management that makes it super fun! Family nights, parties, game rooms and more! Go and have fun like you did when you were a kid, it’ll bring you back.
Took my grandkids for a Saturday skating day. They had a blast and did not want to leave. Love this place. Very easy going atmosphere. Thanks for the rainy day fun
I always enjoy coming here the music is great and the atmosphere family friendly.Wednesday's are family night and free pizza that's always fresh and hot and only $10 to skate. The only downside is the bathroom situation but overall we will continue to go. This place is a classic
We went here for a Dominion Roller Derby game this past weekend. I had never been here before. We waited in line on the side of the building since we did not buy tickets online if you bought tickets online then you would wait in the front of the building and get in first. I thought the staff was friendly - we only had interactions with the person who told us to go to the side of the building for people buying tickets and the staff inside once we were let in at 8pm that we paid for our tickets we paid with a credit card. We had a good experience except for a woman standing in the middle of the aisle at the front of the row of seats yelling at the derby players. She blocked part of our view of the action. The place is old and run down but the toilets worked the sink is on the outside of the men's and women's bathrooms in the middle and you share one sink. There was not any soap left. I think they can use some updates to this place. My boyfriend said the men's bathroom did not have any doors on the stalls so he didn't use the restroom there. That was very odd to hear that they did not have any doors. Please install some doors. They had pizza for sale, drinks, bowling, merchandise for sale, raffles, ice cream, etc. It is worth going here to watch the roller derby's. 3 stars for the center itself. 4 stars for my experience at the derby.
Great family owned place! Price is great food entrance and food. Music selection is a wide range for all ages.
We only get to go a few times a year and always for my girls birthday!!!!! We had the very best time. We skated, had snacks, and fun in the play place with other great kids We met . All the staff was super nice and was just a great fun atmosphere to be in!!!
We had our son's birthday party here on late Sunday afternoon. It was not too crowded, the kids had a blast, they skated until close, the staff are friendly, and the pizza was good. The play area was a hit with the kids as well!
Been 2 years since I last went skating here, but took my daughter and my goddaughter there because today is my daughter's birthday..still great music and very hip, shall I say lol
