I needed my subwoofer repaired and they were very easy to work with. Got it fixed and then helped me get it set up properly. At that point it made sense to upgrade my receiver and they helped me choose the right one for my specific needs and then set that up for me, too. Hat's off to Nick, Thompson, and Chris for the great service!
I had originally came in with a question about a head unit about my car, but I was also curious about upgrading the rest of the stereo components in my car. Andrew was wonderful to work with. He listens and is not pushy at all. I ended up getting a stereo system installed and could not be happier. However, my ears are forever ruined by the great sound coming out of my car. I won't settle for anything less!
Super helpful and knowledgeable. We bought new car decks for our work trucks and Damon went through features and compared options between models. Just an all around great buying experience and they stand behind what they sell.
Excellent! Good, knowledgeable staff, with great service. I hit the defroster button too hard, and asked if they could remove the stereo they’d installed to get at the button and pop it back. They did so, and wouldn’t take any payment. Wonderful, personable service!
I purchased a car stereo. They only sell high quality products, so you don’t have to worry about ending up with something inferior. Great service on the installation, and Damon took plenty of time to show me how everything works.
Great service, knowledgeable staff, and terrific product. My vehicle was ready ahead of the estimated time and spent time to familiarize me to my new stereo. Clean install that looks fabulous!
Got all new audio and a security system. I told them my budget and they gave me multiple options that would get me my bang for my buck. I mostly talked with Damon but all of the employees are very friendly and never seemed to be pushy for me to buy the more expensive options. I highly recommend Hear No Evil for all of your audio needs.
When you pay the premium $4500, one would expect premium sound - or above average sound to day the least. *Note, you could pay far more nowadays, but this is still plenty to build a system*. This place was interesting. I went in an did a demo and had them try and configure a setup to suit my needs note: you are in a sound proof room not a vehicle, so it differs dramatically. The sales team damon was fast to pick what they decided is the “best” fit for my vehicle without considering a range of different options. Let’s dive into it: for the install i dropped the vehicle off a day in advance to give them plenty of time to work on my vehicle. The sound deadening they installed showed that corners were cut, literally. The deadening job could have been better - Chris did a decent job wiring and making it all look stock, however i had to make a trip to the store within a week because the highs were hurting my ears and my wife was quick to notice and comment on it. They mentioned it was a mistake and chris had accidentally bumped the crossover setting - understandable, but why not take your time? There have been a few occasions where the steering wheel buttons do not communicate work properly with the head unit. Additionally, there have been times where static is prominent in one of the tweeters. The biggest issue that i’ve noticed, is the mids and lows feel like they are dead. The receiver that they highly recommended gives very little options for alleviating this too. The highs, as said previously, are overbearing. The suggested solution is purchasing a different set of 3 way speakers and a $550 dsp. That wouldn’t include labor, so who in their right mind would be enthusiastic about that after spending 4k on a their system to start. I find that crazy honestly. Why make a suggestion later when you could have mentioned it early on? I just don’t know what to think anymore. I expected the world out of this place and it seems like my money could have been better utilized in a place that might explore several options prior to diving in. Nothing worse than investing in a system that has components you can’t really get your money back for and that don’t produce the full sound one would hope for i was oblivious to all this and went with damon’s suggestion. My advice: Not overly impressed with their service overall. Check out places in the area and see who is willing to outline a few options that are different, this will help give you the asbolute best sound for your dollar. This place is not the worst option, and the staff were respectful, but perhaps if they slow down and don’t cut minor corners they would be hands down a 5/5. All in all, I give 3 stars because they installed the wiring and head unit professionally, and were all respectful, but the finished sound was average and the aforementioned issues altogether brought my rating to slightly below average for a proclaimed hifi audio shop with such high reviews. It truly sucks because i’m sure Hear No Evil has done some incredible work but it makes me wonder how much people are paying to get that attention to detail and high level customer support.
Had a vision and a dream, HEAR NO EVIL made that dream a reality! Turned out better then I could have imagined! Special thanks to Damon and Chris, Andrew is Special too but it's more of a licking windows Special... LOL. just joking but the entire team is awesome
Made an appointment based on positive word of mouth to get my car stereo looked at, the guys here are awesome. Super friendly, how you hope every customer service/sales experience could be. They replaced my stereo as my old one was dead and did it at a great price. They also have an absolutely killer showroom with some unbelievable listening rooms to test hifi/home theatre for your home. Can't recommend enough, thanks Damon!
