My father and I want to express our deepest appreciation to the nurses (Deniece, Rob, Chris and Kelly) and home aid Yolanda (you rock!) for their care of my sister Lisa who was in hospice care for several weeks at home before passing peacefully. They always took time to check on our well-being, also, and explain the progression of my sister’s condition. You were our angels. God bless.

Let me start by saying when my father got sick with cancer my wife told me about Heartland Hospice and how they did a great job with her grandfather when he was sick. but I've heard of Heartland before from being a caregiver for over 20 years and from personal experience on how their team treated other patients under their care . My personal experience with Heartland was exceptional not only did they do an outstanding job taking care of my father but they also did an outstanding job with helping with my mother which was not really an easy thing to do. they were attentive and compassionate they also went out of their way to educate us on why they were doing what they were doing . I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for anyone to look after their loved ones

I would highly recommend Heartland to anyone who wants their loved one cared for with love..My grandfather was with heartland for over a year and they took excellent care of him until he passed away and after that they were there for the family and even attended his funeral.. They were like family. They showed him and us his family nothing but love and compassion.

To work for a company that values relationships is rare.
I find it extraordinary that I have found a place that encourages taking time to get to know patients and families, and exploring ways to bring physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort in difficult times.
I am extremely privileged to be connected with so many amazing people and find that there is profound gratification in comforting those who feel lost and vulnerable.

Terrible, terrible service. My Father is at home in the last stages of his life and Heartland Hospice does not have anyone giving him or my Mother the type of care I would expect someone who's dying to get. They send out an "Aide" and a "Nurse" 3 days a week but all on the same day! So there are 4 more days when they are along. What is the logic behind this?
My Mother has been left to take care of everything all by herself. My Father is not coherent and cannot move on his own and my Mother, who has a bad back, can't do it by herself. So when he needs to be "cleaned" from various body functions or the sheets changed he just sits in it until someone comes there and helps her. This is such a terrible way to treat my Father and Mother while he lays Dying in his bed.
Yesterday, early afternoon, the Doctor determined that he was in pain, although he could not express it himself, and as of 10:00 PM last night his pain medication was still not delivered! Over 10 hours and still no meds!
To just "Dump" all this on my Mother to do by herself is quite overwhelming for her but all they do is promise to check into having more help yet nothing changes. His death is imminent and Heartland does not seem to care.
All they seem to be concerned about is getting paid and doing as little work as possible so their financials look good. I would definitely NOT recommend this facility to anyone. I highly recommend that you look somewhere else for a company that actually cares about their patients.
