Hennessey House

We had the loveliest stay at Hennessey House! We stayed for 2 nights, and our only regret was that we did not stay another night or two. The house was quaint and comfortable. We stayed in the Paisley room, and it was small but had plenty of room for a couple. The water pressure and temperature were not great, but this was to be expected at an older home. What was great was the hospitality and the food! My husband and I are not foodies at all, but we could not stop talking about the breakfast and the afternoon coconut macaroons. They graciously accommodated our late check in and made us feel extremely welcome during our stay. The innkeeper, Lynn, even made dinner reservations for us and called prior to our stay. The location was great; it was quiet and safe but within walking distance to restaurants and the wine train.

We had a great time during our stay. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The house itself is beautiful and perfectly located, just a 5ish minutes walk to all the great bars and restaurants in down town Napa. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious, and was a fun chance to socialize with the other guests and trade tips on wineries to visit. Ditto for the generous wine and cheese hour, which we enjoyed on the beautiful back deck. We would be happy to stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and far exceeded our expectations! The staff is the extremely courteous and friendly, they make you feel right at home. The gourmet breakfast is amazingly good! We will be back for sure!

Comfortable B&B. The rooms are a bit dated and the breakfasts could have been a bit tastier, but overall I would stay again.
