Henry's Barber Shop

I've been going to Henry's for the better part of 30 years. His prices are and always have been very reasonable, his work is great and I definitely consider him a friend. I love the simple old school shop, a great alternative to those chain "barbers" who just swipe an electric razor over your head a few times and call it done. Henry actually uses a straight razor and takes his time, showing the pride in his work for each client.Service: Haircut

The price for a haircut is the absolute best for the Montrose area as other charge outrageous prices. At this barber shop you get any whiskey, beer or a cigar but you will definitely get a great haircut and some good stories about sports or the history of Houston. If you don't need your hair colored or a perm then go hit up Henry's for a fade or edge up. They are patient and do not rush the person in the chair.

Finally found an actual barber shop in Houston! Henry and Steve are my go to. They even fixed a botched high & tight job in time for my wedding photos. Their work speaks volumes.

Henry’s barber shop is traditional setup. Nice barber who does a great job doing mens haircuts at a reasonable price.

I’ve been going to Henry for maybe forty years. Eight years ago I moved to west Houston. I went through barber after barber. Franchise chains, the snooty but incompetent, never the same barber excuse me, “hair stylist”. Now I gladly drive ten miles to Henry’s again for an excellent friendly haircut. Always done carefully, done right, done the way you want!
