Sadly, this school has had massive turnover and lost many of their long standing teachers and families, due to prideful and controlling leadership. It needs to have some major change in governance, in order to thrive again.

My grandson attends this school for kindergarten and he is doing quite well! He is reading and is very happy with his teacher!

I was a student at Heritage from 2011-2013. To put it in a few words, it was difficult.
The academic aspect is quite respectable. They gave us plenty of homework and pushed us into the studying the material on our own time, to prepare us for harder classes.
I did not like the textbooks. They were pure right-wing biased books. They called socialism a satanic denial of God. Which is complete nonsense. They were heavy against mainstream science, and showed their alternative of Young Earth Creationism instead. I highly doubt I'm prepared for college with that pathetic textbook. I learned more reading the Greatest Show on Earth by Richard Dawkins. Since we didn't learn about evolution or most of biology for that matter, it was heavily watered down. Now comes the other problems.
Some of the kids there are wonderful, Christ-centered, living the faith students. I like those kids. There are also the stuck up- kids, who are legalistic and judge down, which are annoying kids. Then there are kids because their parents force them to. They are bullies, along with the stuck up kids. At first it is welcoming, then it turns into either a popularity contest or a who's the most religious kid. If you are neither, then it's poor. I was mildly popular, so I was in that crowd. It was interesting being one of the few black people there. I felt like I was looked at different, and some of the girls probably were told by their mother's not to associate with me.
Their lunch is satisfactory, though it's quite a short period. The chapels were nice, since I helped run the worship aspect. The worship team teacher is a wonderful man, and helped me get led by the Holy Spirit to rededicate my life to Christ.
The teachers were good when I was there, but I have no idea who is there or what. I know a lot left after the administration was replaced.
From the time I started and now, in February, my attitude towards the school. When I went in there, it was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. After going there and hearing tales and stories, I view it more as a closed-minded, tight-knit, and unwelcoming school. I know there are great kids there, but some are not. A school is shaped by the students and the teachers and the teachers rules and guidance. This school just didn't do it for me.
Not a bad school by any means, but others may be a better choice.

This school is ran by a woman (Tonya Scott) who is evil to the core. I had the displeasure of not only experiencing her in the school setting, but living down the street from her for many years. She hides behind the façade of being a Christian woman, but she is nothing but a snob and will lie straight to your face.
I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone with her in charge.
