It took over 45 minutes to get my vehicle. The gentleman that assisted me was the only one on site. He continued to take call after call instead of helping me. It took over 45 minutes to get my rental car even though he only spent 5 minutes with me. I was the only physical person there. After receiving my rental they gave me a vehicle that needed maintenance. He said it was fine. They take an additional $200 deposit at time of check in, which wasn’t noted when I made the reservation. When I went to return the vehicle at 9 am there were 10 people in the lobby waiting for someone to come out. We asked for assistance and they got attitude with us like we were inconveniencing them. It took until 10:04 for me to return the vehicle. Jonnie did try to make it right and was friendly when he finally got to me. He explained to me that the reason for the maintenance sign was due to it needing an oil change but wasn’t due for another few miles and made sure that my card was refunded the $200 that they charged. However the lady that was there never apologized at all and continued to have bad attitude towards me.
Money laundering scam! The two employees who are clearly dating each other have HORRIBLE attitudes! I reserved a car 2 days before my medical appointment. When i arrived i was told they had no cars. I did not receive a courtesy call. I was told they dont know when they will have some available. Bright chick with puffy hair told me when i came back i would have to pay MORE. Her girlfriend the stud chick has demonic energy. They are RUDE. I was blown off. I waited for 2 hrs and did not receive a call back i am still waiting. Went to enterprise. Why do they even work there when ALL of the reviews are 1 star? They are scamming and money laundering. I call customer service and they told me its nothing they can do for the inconvenience. If there is ever lawsuits against HERTZ. Sign me up. Close this horrible company.
Extortion and fraud. That's all this location is about. Brittany insisted I keep the rental longer than necessary and when I refused, she refused to close the contract and charged me extra, in addition to the extra i was initially charged. On top of that, they didn't have anything I was looking for and I was forced to basically take the most expensive car on the lot at full cost. No apologies for not having what I was looking for. No real interest in renting vehicles either. I should've left then but I was in a situation so I did what I could. I will never rent from these crooks again. Now they're playing on my phone, calling and hanging up. Go anywhere else than this hertz location. Sadly, I love the one downtown, but after this experience, I'll probably find another company to rent from in the future. This location should be closed and the employees fired immediately.
If you reserve a car from this location don't expect to show up and actually get it. I reserved a car for 8am and it wasn't ready until 2 or so. Ended up using a different, better run location. Staff was polite and helpful when they could be
SCAM FRAUD CROOKS BEWARE!! Do not bother renting anything other than an expensive SUV or sports car from this location because you will be left SOL. They don't give a **** about what you reserved or how far in advance you made the reservation. That female will have a stank attitude and demand you accept upsale to an expensive car or just have no car. They will know for days before you sposed to get your car they don't have it but they do nothing they just gonna let you waste your time going up there for nothing and you gonna have to change all your plans.
Gave me a vehicle with half tank and told me to return it with the same level. When I returned it they charged me for a full tank. Never trust this place, take pics and write down everything and let them sign on it. Update: The employee who signed the contract confirmed that they gave me the vehicle with 1/2 tank so I didn’t get charged for the full tank.
Same issue as others. Made a reservation through the website and when I showed up no cars were available for my reservation. They should update their website to reflect current car availability and create a local phone line that routes directly to this office, rather than a generic Hertz hotline.
Went to the South Main location and was told they do not have cars for insurance claims to come back on today, Monday, July 25, 2022. Went back and was told the same thing but what makes me mad is this girl who is bright skinned two long braided pony tails tells us she didn’t schedule us for a car for today and that she doesn’t have any cars for insurance claims. When I was told to come back and she schedule is for 8 am today. So she lied if she didn’t. This associate was very rude and her customer service skills was horrible. She didn’t offer to call other locations to check. Her tone and delivery was not inviting it was like she didn’t won’t to be there. I know it was 8 am in the morning but this associate was not pleasant at all.
I rent a Hyundai Santa Fe , for my nephew wedding. During Oct. 21 to 23. The agents was so Nice and helpful. I will rent again !
They didn't have the car in stock and wanted to charge us an extra $75 a day to upgrade rather than upgrade for free because of their error. It was crazy.
