I would give them a 0 if I could. They gave me an electric car practically on E. The man lied and said it also takes gas. I missed my event charging the car. I’m asking for a refund.This is ridiculous and I could have been in an accident. The car cuts off when out of electricity.
Check in was fine but no one ever answers the phone and make sure you get a stamp of return when you bring the car in. They waited to process and properly input the return for my car and I’m now being charged for an additional day as well as late fees. Called to try and resolve but got no answer or options, so had to find and call a support number. Support then told me I have to call back Sunday to get a refund and it resolved..
I recently reserved a 7-seat car for my trip to Philadelphia. I did this several weeks in advance. Upon arriving to collect my car, I was informed they did not have a car for me that would seat seven people. I understand I do not get the exact brand of car, but certainly I paid for a 7-seat vehicle that I did not get. Agent could not care any less about what I had to say. One of the worst customer service experience in my life.
We booked a mid size car and when we arrived they gave us a SUV. We said this is not what we booked, and SUVs normally does not have the cover for the bags in the back we don't want it. The Hertz person asked us anyway to go down to the garage to actually look at the car, which we did. And yes, of course, as we knew, just an open booth where everyone can see what you have in it. So elevator back up again with all suitcases saying that yes, as we knew, we can't take this car which we haven't booked as you can't have anything in the booth. The Hertz woman was not pleased and gave us a new car. We went down do the garage finding a quite old Honda. It wasn't very clean either. Well we are Hertz Gold and somehow expected something different.
On the busiest Saturday ever they had 2 employees working, one who had no idea how to use the system to figure out which cars were available or rent them to people, and another who was locked out of the computer system and unable to do much. I tried to speed the process along by checking in online “skip the line!” Hertz advertizesbut that didn’t help at all. The people working there seemed really stressed but no manager came to help and they were super salty to everyone except for a 30ish white man who had rented a “luxury” car.
The 1st time, they rented me a car that broke down and almost got me into an accident the reverse stopped working. I got a gift certificate as a result and rented a 2nd car from them. They took my gift certificate, but never applied it! I can't get ahold of the manager, Aamer Ahmed, who promised he would follow up and take care of the matter. The worst Hertz location I've ever dealt with.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I reserved a 7pax SUV the day before pick up but apparently it had to have been reserved 24 hours before which is not disclosed anywhere on the website. I arrived at my time of rental and there were no 7pax SUVs available with no guarantee that one would ever become available. Someone could have at least called me and let me know that my reservation would not be able to be fulfilled. I am also a Gold Member President's Circle. This is my second mishap at this location. I am disappointed and inconvenienced.
God awful customer service - horrible experience all the way through. They didn't even have the car that I confirmed and reserved days prior - then tried to tell me I didn't read the fine print. Never using used Hertz and never will again.
This place is the worst they take your money and give you dirty cars I have to put garbage bags in the seats to feel comfortable. I don’t get it you can’t call customer service because they don’t know anything or understand you and the girls that work at this location are horrible and the manager unique is rude…last car they gave me was not good to drive something was wrong with it u can’t request a vehicle swap they won’t do it please hire new people that provides excellent customer service and has good morale for Hertz.
Very quick, friendly service when I picked up my rental and to my surprise was given an upgrade to a crazy nice Buick Enclave. Total of less than 10 minutes UPDATE.. Had an issue with the vehicle... Oil was very low causing the warning light to come on. I put oil in and explained this when I returned vehicle. The money I paid for oil was deducted from my bill... No issues at all. Would def use this Hertz location again.
