The building itself seems to be well kept...always very clean and there's a new guy at the sign in desk who is wonderful...friendly, greets you with a big smile. However, parking here is a pain. There is a new system...you must use your phone to pay. I had my hands full on the way into the building..then I had to stop, pull my phone from my purse, send a text, follow a link, enter my license plate which means I had to walk back to the car and lastly find my debit card to enter my info to pay. This was very inconvenient...had to load everything up again to go inside.
unique building it's like a time warp and freindly people work there and a very special thankyou to the handsome gentleman who works the front desk who called a Lyft for me god bless.
I've had an office there for 16 years with a company that's been there for 34 years. It's a great location and I love working downtown but it's time to leave. . Over the past 5 years, the management has gotten to be horrific! Paid parking spaces that they allow others to park in. 2 of our own cars towed from our parking spots. Mounting maintenance issues left unaddressed. Elevators broken down for long periods of time because of unpaid bills. Lastly, the manager is a nightmare to deal with! Sad to leave after so long, but no choice.
Elevators and a/c do not want to work..hardly ever. Staff is friendly and lot is kept clean. Be careful late at night. People will walk up to your car and harass you for money. That is just downtown Louisville though. Not necessarily this place in particular.
The building is lovely - lots of original architectural features, nice views. HOWEVER - maintenance is nonexistent, there are huge roaches everywhere, and the building manager Cindy does absolutely nothing to address the issues. In fact, Cindy is the worst thing about the building. She's rude, as unprofessional as anyone I've ever seen, and even encouraged or at least allowed her maintenance staff to destroy a desk - with a sledgehammer - that we'd left in our office for someone to pick up later. I know FOR A FACT that she was directly involved because she called us the next day to ask where the sledgehammer was! If Cindy weren't running things, we probably wouldn't have moved after 30+ years, but her belligerence, rudeness, lack of professionalism, and refusal to address maintenance & cleaning issues finally made it impossible to stay.
Ok, I'll be direct. Cindy Oliver The Manager was the #1 absolute reason I decided to leave. I was a tenant for 1 year and could no longer take her rudeness, racism and ridiculousness. Aside from this, the offices in the building are FREEZING COLD. I addressed this with Cindy and she didn't care or ever respond. The deal breaker is Cindy... I hope you never have to deal with her, ever... RUN RUN RUN!
Great location. Great views. Affordable office space for anybody looking to establish their own business in a professional and commercial setting. Property manager Cindy is easy to work with.
Tacky, construction inside, water leaking, dim hallways,
