We recently worked with Eric and Jennie on a home renovation. Words cannot adequately express how critical they were to the overall success of our project. They are great listeners—after our initial meetings it was obvious they understood the shift we wanted to have in our updated home. In addition, they have a meticulous attention to detail, provide quick answers when needed for contractors, and possess an impeccable sense of style. While we were obviously happy with the results, we truly enjoyed working with them—we always looked forward to our meetings not just because we wanted to see what they'd pulled together for us to review, but because we truly enjoyed their company. We would definitely work with them again!

I've been working with High Cotton Home for about 1.5 years on a large scale/ongoing project in renovating and redecorating my new home. The design services have been amazing! They've worked with me on every element and have great industry contacts to help source all the elements needed for my renovation and design great coordination with contractors, wallpaper hanging, fabric treating, drapery, you name it! They bring all the pieces together. I love all the design ideas and products, and I especially appreciate how they are very collaborative with me. They were so open to working with my existing furnishings to incorporate them into my floor plans and build them out with amazing additions. They're always respectful of my priorities and budget. The team appreciated that this was a large project for me, and allowed me to work in phases which allows me to consistently reevaluate my needs in my space. Hailey and Jennie work as a great team! Love the energy that they bring. Very happy with the service.

I had an extremely positive experience working with Jennie Harper at High Cotton. She understood what I was looking for and worked with our family quirks and preferences. She came to our home, sketched out some suggestions, and had me back to the store to sit on couches and chairs and look at fabric samples within a few days. She did not try to upsell or oversell, and best of all the furniture arrived quickly in furniture time. Jennie coordinated the delivery and came over on delivery day to help arrange the furniture. She set up fabric treatment to keep our family room furniture looking fresh and safe from spills. I will absolutely patronize High Cotton again and use Jennie’s expertise!

The worst store in Charlotte. We bought a vase. It was part of a set, so we needed to buy a set of three. No big deal. Brought it home and it didn’t work in the space. Brought them back 24 hours later and were informed of no return policy. We weren’t informed when we bought it. ‘It’s on the receipt’. The geniuses here don’t understand that if they tell you AFTER you buy you are stuck. This place won’t be open in a few years. Unfortunately for them we’re in the beginning stages of a renovation and can walk to this store. They will get none of our business and we will be more than happy to tell our friends to avoid the store.

The shopping and design experience was wonderful but after you have paid your deposit, do not expect any follow-up when your furniture is over a month past due. Furthermore, please do not spend any amount of time with their customer service team. After a month of phone calls to High Cotton Home with no follow-up, we are finally going to have to pay an upholsterer to replace a button that fell off and re-do some stiching on our new sectional. We will also simply have to live with a scratched leg on our brand new chair. I have never felt so disregarded by a company in my life.

High Cotton home is an amazing company. They value customer relationships and will do anything to make sure that a customer gets exactly what they want. I love the layout of the store, all the associates help guide you around to help to pick out exactly what your home might be missing. THE SIGNATURE SCENT CANDLE IS MY FAVORITE. If you stop in make sure to get one because they are amazing and you need to burn one.

Excellent customer service and care - through no fault of theirs, when my couch was delivered, the fabric had multi-colored thrreads throughout even though the fabric sample showed only one base color. Rodney and Dianne immediately let me know that they would work to resolve the issue which was incredibly calming and unique in this day and age. I have always loved their showroom and selection and am thrilled to add that their customer service is top notch as well!

After a long search for the perfect sofa, my parents found one they could agree on at High Cotton. The sales person was patient, accommodating and efficient in helping them make the right choice. They waited about a 3-4 months only to be disappointed with the Vanguard product. Having ordered from that manufacturer, I knew that they make quality products color of the nail heads should be consistent, piping should be not be crooked, the feet should align with each other etc.. The sales person, insisted he could not help us and thankfully referred us to the owner, Rodney. After following that protocol, things immediately turned around. Rodney was the ultimate professional and expedited the process of contacting the manufacturer and whilst keeping me and my mother informed of the progress. Upon review of the photographs of the sofa, the manufacturer decided that the product passed its quality control standards and the issues were within the parameters of those standards. Rodney politely offered to reimburse us for the full cost of the sofa and the delivery/return costs which was to be absorbed by his company. At first, I was very uneasy with the idea of being stuck with an expensive $2600+ substandard piece of furniture, but once Rodney began communicating with us and handling our calls, I knew we would be taken care of. Although it was not an ideal experience due to the unusual quality issues with the product, I thought Rodney handled the situation beautifully and the refund was received in such a timely manner. Thank you Rodney!

Terrible experience. Ordered a table and was told it would be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. The table finally arrived after 4 months. Was told they have no control over construction delays. I never received any updates on the delay until I contacted the store after 8 weeks. No one from the store ever reached out to me to explain the delay or update on the delivery. I had to initiate every contact. This is horrible customer service for a high end store. I received better service from Havertys. Won’t be back. Update. Matthew the manager just sent me a very sarcastic email to my personal email “thanking” me for my one star review. Shouldn’t a organization want to make my experience right rather than harassing me.

The customer services from the associates on the floor is lame. I go in looking for help with refurbishing my pillows for a couch I bought there. I was asked to bring in a pillow. The fabric is discontinued so instead of helping me find a match, the associate sends me the non-professional to fend for myself and come up with my own match in their fabric department. Of course I do what I have to and I pray it works out. We’ll see. Since they are the only Vanguard vendor in Charlotte, I’m at their mercy.
