Highway 79 Brewery and Scratch Kitchen

Took my wife out for the evening. Great food, large portions. Everything is fresh and appeared to be homemade. Service was excellent and fast. Although we didn't drink they have an exceptional selection on tap. While no room for dessert and quit a bit boxed to go, my wife ordered dessert. The cheesecake was one of the best I've eaten outside my wife's kitchen and the tap root beer float was a delicious new treat! Will for sure be back frequently!!

My husband and I have eaten here many times and seem to be disappointed every time. Steak is always dry and over cooked, blooming onion is my favorite but has twice now come out with the batter in the middle still in liquid form (not cooked), the spaghetti and meatballs is terrible. Noodles are so wet the sauce doesn’t stick to them and meatballs are always burnt and bland. My favorite at the moment is the pork, cilantro tacos but the pork is usually crispy (burnt). Then when I get my side salads I ask for vinegar and oil. I get a little plastic container full of oil with a tiny spec of vinegar in it. I don’t enjoy eating my salad with just oil soaked lettuce. Service is very hit and miss. Usually have to go up to the bar for re fills. We were so excited to have a nice, new restaurant open up close to home but have chosen not to eat there anymore other than a last resort. Very disappointing as I feel the place has so much potential.

Good food with lots of homemade options. The beer was all good quality with some fun and interesting twists!

Great food, lovely atmosphere, the brewmaster was bartending the night I was there. Very knowledgeable about different microbreweries he is an IPA gentleman. But he also helped create their dill pickle beer which is very good

Great burgers and in house craft brewed beers! Definitely worth a stop.
