Dr Clark is the B E S T vet my family has had. Informative, knowledgeable, but most of all kind. We’ve had a variety of veterinarians through out the years, hands down, Dr Clark’s kindness is genuine. Her advice is top notch. Thank you Dr Clark for caring for Pork Chop.
This vet has saved my cat’s life multiple times, and I’m forever grateful. The most recent health condition she had was an issue with her kidneys. She saw two separate vets in another state and neither of them could figure out what was wrong or how to treat it, not to mention that the bills were racking up fast. Dr. Clark figured it out very quickly and prescribed a treatment that has been working for over two and a half years now. My cat’s as healthy as ever, and Dr. Clark showed me how to give her the needed daily IV treatment without issue. The other staff are also great—always kind and personable, and they don’t feel overly rushed but also don’t talk your ear off forever. The vet also took great care of the family cat a few years back he, too, was very ill at the time and made a full recovery and recently helped treat our dog for a respiratory issue that we hadn’t even picked up on—we’d brought her in for shots when they noticed her symptoms and helped us make her feel better. Great team. Really caring and smart. I wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else.
Excellent service: even though we have been to Hillcrest Animal Hospital before, it has been over several years ago. We have a new seven weeks old puppy we decided to get the care we need for our dog from our neighboring clinic. We were delighted with the services we received, and all the staff, especially the veterinarian, took good care of our puppy and answered all our questions. Thank you all, Merry Christmas and happy new year.
I was sent here on referral by my vet in Hot Springs. Was here for a long appointment and have Dr. Hodges assurance we will figure every thing out that is going on with my very much loved geriatric dog. Was kept informed and consulted for every step. The staff was very understanding. I would recommend this vet clinic.
This is the best place for animals! Every time I’ve brought one of my cats, the front lobby gals are SO welcoming and kind. They quickly check you in and love on your animal while waiting. There has not been one vet there who I didn’t adore. They know their stuff and so helpful! I can’t say enough! Trust them whole heartedly.
We’ve been going to this animal hospital for years and always have good experiences. They work us in for urgent matters unless it’s after hours, spend lots of time helping us understand diagnostics and treatment options, seem to have several veterinarians and techs that really can critically appraise a situation, and don’t nickel and dime us for everything although the vet is never cheap!. I’ll keep going.
We found a lost dog who no one has claimed yet. To keep our current fur-baby safe, I took the rescue to Hillcrest. They fit him into their schedule very quickly. They performed an evaluation and worked with me to get the required vaccinations and medications affordably. They were super helpful and very friendly!
Very compassionate people and veterinarians. We have a couple tiny dogs that require special care. And we have a medium size dog that needed monitoring every day for 2 weeks because she had been in a fight with another dog. Her throat was stitched at an emergency vet and the stitches came out. She was well on her way to dying when I took her to Hillcrest Animal Hospital. Her throat was severely slashed and doc fixed her up and was able to rid the infection that could have killed her. Another time, I had my chihuahua of 16 years, her eye popped out a bit, I knew she couldn't see in one eye but when the eye bulge appeared, I knew I had to take her. She was in severe pain and the pressure was high. My Izzi would have endured it to stay with me. I had to make the decision to allow her to go. It was heartbreaking and I miss her every day. They made it simple and so understanding and compassionate towards the entire situation. Another time, I had my sons cat and it had a horrible infection. It was lost for over a year and someone found her. My son immediately took her to a vet and was told she would be ok with this antibiotic. She wasn't improving. He brought her to L.R. and Hillcrest Animal Hospital ran test, kept her for observation, stayed in contact with me so I could relay messages to my son. The chances of her making it were extremely slim and going to be VERY expensive. They were upfront, delicately informing us that there was no guarantee after a year of expensive treatment, that she would survive. She didn't. Her condition was just too far gone. They did everything for her. All of the people employed at Hillcrest Animal Hospital are pleasant, professional, and compassionate.
This was my first experience at Hill Crest. I’m very pleased with our care. Stella my boxer is who I brought to Hill Crest. The Dr who cared for Stella was very kind and explained in detail what my options was for her. The assistant that roomed us was very kind and professional as well. I appreciate both of them.
