Great place to exercise on the beach. Pull up bars, rings, monkey bars, balance bars, dip stations. Awesome for calisthenics and people seem real nice.
Great rare find for outdoor exercise. There is a tall rope climb, multiple pullup bars, monkey bars and rings. The pullup bars very in height to accommodate most people. I am 6'5" and can hang without my feet touching the ground using the tallest bar. The rings were difficult to use at my height. Great views being on the beach.
Very good free park for fans of calisthenics and/or bodybuilding. BRING CHALK!!!! Or gloves A combination of no chalk, the sand, and the hot metal tore up my hands, so bring something for that because you will need it. 10/10
Looking to get swolt on the beach? Suns out, guns out BRO! Got bars for chins, feet-to-bar, tri dips, etc. Well maintained and clean. Also some other equipment to get you Ninja Warrior on.
Every Saturday during the summer a group of us, F3 men work out 7:00 am. Pushing each other to get stronger and better. #F3HamptonRoads
My son and I spend many hours here.
Really good park. Lots of people watching on the boardwalk. Short story time: A really good place to lose your wedding rings. I lost my wedding ring while diving into the waves. I then jumped up and tried to find it... GONE! Should of seen my sister's face after I got out of the water to let my wife know that I lost my ring. My wife wasn't upset believe it or not. Maybe 6 months later, my wife was at this park with her friends and lost her wedding ring. She was using the equipment and it fell out of her pocket. My wife and I are happy that our wedding rings are together again.
Awesome cross fit/ninja warrior type gym right on the beach. Not really our style of a workout but is awesome nonetheless. Wasn't crowded early in morning. Wish I would have thought to bring lifting gloves along to make the ropes, bars, and rings easier to handle.
I loved this place. Went everyday I was in VA beach. It's great fun and a great work out. Sometimes there are others there working out and sometimes groups came by to play on the equipment. It wasn't too crowded when I was there but I could see it being a crazy popular place as the weather gets warmer.
