Most of the time I get excellent service from Hills Bank bankers. Today I went with my wife to the S Gilbert Street location to get help with a card. Forgot the banker name, but she wasn't very nice. She wasn't in a good mood at all. We tried to explain our issue but she didn't look happy at all and not kind with her responses. We needed also to activate a card and her attitude got worse. We felt so bad that we even wanted to ask for other issues we had but we decided to leave. At the end we told her we were sorry for bothering her and she didn't even look at us and not even had the respect of saying anything, not even tells us to have a good day, like any other good banker. Just said Nothing. We don't want to think her attitude was because we are hispanic, but we didnt feel good about it. We let the recepcionist know on our way out. Definitely, if I need help again and go to the bank and she's the only one, will go to another branch.

This is more than a bank, it's a community institution. They care about their clients and often go above and beyond any reasonable expectation of service. We are lucky to have such conscientious, caring professionals with whom to trust our money!
