I was very fortunate to have a good experience. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Soft pillows. Great shower. Location is in a nice area of downtown within easy walking distance for coffee, restaurants, pharmacies and other shops. Fridge and safe in room. Big plus is access to YMCA classes and gym on site. Trey at the front desk was particularly friendly and helpful, as was Addison P. In the lobby. Recommend.
I haven’t even checked into our room and I already know I would never stay here again. The front desk staff is extremely rude. I asked if there was a business center space where I could take a work call quietly and the lady at the front desk looked at me and bluntly said, “no, you book private space through our events team.” I was then approached by security to ask if I was staying here because I was standing in the lobby waiting on my husband to park our car. When we did check in, they acted like it was an inconvenience to be here.
This hotel was awesome! Very relaxing. Even though it looks upscale it didn't feel like it was. Everything was so clean throughout the hotel. We ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Food was excellent. Conveniently located within walking distance of everything.Rooms: 5/5
Great! Hotel, very friendly staff. The restaurant/bar is very popular, but they need more salad options, and take the blanched tomatoes out of the caesar salad, and have more simple food options on the menu, like Tuna Sandwiches, BLT, and Hot dogs, and Italian Cold Cuts Rooms: The rooms were beautiful, and the room service was great! Safety: Just like anywhere you go, you must be vigilant and beware of your surroundings. Walkability: You can walk to quite a fews spot locally. Food and drinks: The Food and Drinks were really good, they need more simple options.
Got to hotel 5 minutes before check in time. Our room was not ready. Once it was, we were given a complimentary premium level room. There was nothing premium about this room. The shower didn't drain and the bed sinks in. Also the elevator situation is a joke. No one informed us of how the elevator operates. You have to scan your card in order for it to operate or let you off at your floor. Luckily some nice guests informed us of that, not the employees. This was not worth the $300 we paid. Definitely won't be back.
I was checked into a hotel room without clean, usable water. The water in the toilet, sink, and shower were all yellowish-brown. When I inquired with the front desk, one of the staff members was upfront about the water issue affecting the rooms on one side of the hotel. Despite this, a second staff member offered to put us in another room same room type on the same floor/side of the hotel. When we declined, it was then he mentioned the only other option, which was to put us in a same room type on a higher floor executive floor. We agreed and transferred our belongings to the next room, only to discover the toilet in that room made loud sounds which kept us up throughout the night. We did notify the staff of this issue at checkout. As a customer and Diamond member, I expect through brand loyalty to be treated with a level of respect and being placed into a room without clean water a basic necessity was unacceptable. The only great moments of my stay were the proximity to attractions in Uptown and the degree of guest servicing in housekeeping, the restaurant and the lounge. The staff in those areas deserve a raise for keeping this hotel's customer service afloat. If you decide to stay at this hotel, here's hoping you're checked into a room on the "good side" of the floor, if there even is one.
This is a great, upscale hotel with a good restaurant, and the location is great, too. A medium walk to the BOA stadium and a short walk to the convention center. Hilton is in the heart of the city and clise to the fun restaurants and nightlife. The service staff members are excellent. No pool on the property, nor hottub. This hotel is great for business. Safety: I felt safe in the area.
After staying in the hotel for a couple of days, I’m writing an honest review. The location is great. Lots of things to do around the hotel. Parking was not included in the room rate. $48 for two days. The garage is located under the hotel and seems to be safe and secure. The breakfast buffet is not included in the room rate. I don’t like this when paying $200+ a night for the room. The breakfast charge was $20 per person plus a tip. The breakfast was pretty standard. You’d pretty much get the same thing if you were to stop at the hotel off the interstate. The exception is that they have an omelette bar. Does this justify the cost? The person I was staying with decided not to eat there either day. I only went once and decided it wasn’t worth it the second day. The room was clean and looked nice. The bed was not comfortable. The TV must have been satellite because it would lose the channel every few minutes or so. Not the end of the world. This hotel does not buy good toilet paper. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels that have nicer toilet paper. This hotel uses Angel Soft Professional Series commercial grade. I understand why they are using it but it is rough and not comfortable to use. The hotel does provide body wash and shampoo/conditioner, but they are in pump bottles attached to the shower wall. I would describe this as communal use. I guess they found that they can make a few more dollars on each room by eliminating the travel sized bottles that were standard. Overall, a nice hotel. Hilton now nickel and dimes you for everything. Late checkout, early check in, higher floor, city view, breakfast, parking all gonna cost you more.
It was such a great experience for me and family with the time we spent there. The attention to details and service experience was amazing. And the food was just so delicious. The chefs Kevin and Steeve did such a great job with the food. I am so grateful we did our event there. Thank you so much to the Hilton family and to all the staff for such a great experience.
Very pretty and modern hotel! There is valet parking for an extra charge provided for this hotel, it is very convenient and all the valet attendants have always been very quick to retrieve my vehicle. The nice thing about the hotel is that there is a YMCA attached to it and the hotel is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants!
