Aloft Charlotte Uptown at the EpiCentre

The hotel itself was "okay", but did not have breakfast as advertised. Staff instructs you to try a nearby restaurant. They had little to no knowledge of surrounding amenities...95 percent of nearby restaurants have closed permanently. Very convenient location if you're going to see a Hornets game but pack a bag lunch.

Very modern hotel with good atmosphere. It is in walking distance to good restaurants, entertainment and much more. Check in was easy and the room was perfect! Yes, the hotel entrance is around the corner and on the 5th of the building... If you know how to read then you'll be fine. Unlike other comments here they don't pay attention.
