Want to learn to sew “old school”? Need the basics and one on one attention? You’ve found the right place!

Story

Classes are limited to an hour in duration and 3 students at a time to provide maximum opportunity for you to engage, learn, and retain the skills we'll address in each class. After teaching many students one on one and in class settings, we have found that students learn best in small, short classes that allow the student to focus on one particular topic or skill. When many topics are covered over a 2 or 3 hour course, often only 30% of the content is retained. Additionally, we've found it a lot easier for students to find an hour of time for a class than lose an afternoon or entire evening with busy schedules.

Don't have a sewing machine, or don't want to lug yours around town? No sweat, we provide each student a basic machine to work with as part of our classes. Prefer to use your own machine? That's great too...bring it with you, we welcome all makes and models! Needles, thread and fabric scraps provided for basic classes, intermediate and advanced classes or project classes will have a supply list for you to purchase.
