Savage Mull is a quaint, historic point of interest. The shop owners are personable and the mill is kept clean. There are several historical information placards in the Mill proper and the surrounding community also holds historic interest as well as public park space. Great for a lazy weekend stroll or some relaxing shopping and dining.

Lovely historic building. The antiques mall is great and the French cafe has AMAZING pastries. More people, need to visit as shoppers do that more shops can open in the old mill side. There never seems to be very many people there when we go.

Very quaint spot to do some local, modern shopping with a rustic feel from the past. There are many things to experience at this plaza such as board game challenges, arts and crafts, and various hobbies. Decent food deli on lower level and overall very family friendly, community oriented atmosphere. If you're looking for some modern high tech experience, this is not the place, but if you appreciate taking a step through time you'll certainly enjoy your visit.

If you have a day to slowly wander around a treasure trove, then Savage Mill is for you. It doesn't matter what season, there is always something wonderful going on. In the winter, the lights are gorgeous, in the spring and fall, outdoor seating at the Rams Head is delightful. There are artists studios, antique shops, bookstores, high quality consignment stores, curiosity shops, candy stores and Ice Cream!! Take out of town friends, they'll love it. There is also the Terrapin Adventures with ropes courses, giants swings, etc. It's all wonderful and easy to get to.

The Queen's Ink is in the mall and it's an amazing mixed-media art supply store. The staff are super friendly and they host really amazing art classes there. Be sure to check it out if you're a maker.
